NEW: I'm posting a few hours before I trigger the email notifications... not a bug
Some of you have noticed that you aren't getting email notifications. I'm to blame, not your provider (or Substack).
Several people wondered why they haven’t gotten my recent posts in their email. This is not the fault of your email provider; this is just a new style for me. Here’s the story…
I often write posts at 10pm to 3am PST.
Normally, I’d set publication for the next morning.
I’ve switched to:
publish immediately WITHOUT email blast,
wait for some feedback to make sure everything is good,
then launching the email blast.
This should improve the quality of the material you get in your inbox.
Let me know what you think…. (this one is going out immediately).
Steve, a possible source for data: have insurance company actuaries begun underwriting new policies including vax status as a risk factor for life and disability policies? No one has more to lose financially (since Pharmacy has indemnity) than insurance providers. They must have experienced increased claims given the surge in heart attacks, and other adverse events, and it must be ringing alarm bells in a business that is dependent upon accurately assessing risk and evaluating data. Maybe you have contacts in this area?
But when do you sleep?! We need you healthy for the fight, Steve! ❤️
