You certainly are tenacious Steve. I had an epiphany in 1990, with regard to health, when I was hosting a television show and exposed to an enormous amount of information on natural health. It was necessary for me to read between 100 and 200 books each year, for the show. I became a health warrior, talking to anyone and everyone who would listen. I went to politicians, to try and get them to run education programs on the maintenance of health, to try and avoid senseless degenerative disease and soaring medical costs. I spoke to the senior clergy where I live and spoke to audiences on maintaining optimum health. I kept this up for several years, until I realized that people didn't want to know. It's a little like talking about politics or religion and people have long held beliefs - rightly or wrongly. There are several reasons that I believe prevent people from becoming open to different ideas on health. One is that most people don't want to admit that they have held onto misconceptions. Another is that many people have been seduced by pharma and believe that there is a silver bullet for disease. Some are simply hanging on with blind faith. Until people realize that optimum health is simply not the absence of disease and that health is easier to maintain than reclaim, lifestyle folly will continue and doctors and pharmaceutical companies will continue to grow richer and research institutes will continue to siphon money, preying on people's empathy towards those with degenerative diseases. It's a sad but true reality and it's greed behind it all.

Most of these people have sold their souls to the devil. They were hired to do this and they agree with it. How many deaths and disabilities have resulted from their actions directly or indirectly? They will be held accountable either here or in the afterlife.

Why has Guantanamo been expanded in the last few years? Biden and Obama wanted to shut it down yet the opposite happens. There are different opinions about why this is happening.

Very good summary of the reasons for this. I doubt the situation will ever change since there is a new clog in the wheel which can't be removed: people are welded to their smartphones.

Young people who have never viewed a natural sky will have never experienced life without the networking crutch. This is forever embedded in their behaviors.

I’ll offer another reason.

--They’re lazy and lack willpower.

--And actually aren’t very smart, or willing to take responsibility for their own health.

-- Zero curiosity to explore and research the amazing human body and it’s miraculous mechanisms.

....OK. That’s 3 more reasons.

My 120 lb (similarly sized) sister went to TX Galveston Med school after completing U of H undergraduate in 3 years with a 4.0, admitted having scored a perfect (at the time) 1600 SAT. Is she ‘smart’? I’ll let you decide...

Decades later she weighs in at 220, takes metformin, refusing to work through her health issues with dietary choices because ....she’d rather pop a pill and eat Oreos. Her words.

I’ve offered to come stay with her and do all the cooking...promising it will be delicious and she’ll never be hungry. Not interested.

Good friend in Texas said the same, weighed in at almost 400 lbs, 50 years old, said he would rather enjoy life eating what he wanted and take pills

He had a major stroke, lucky to be alive, it changed his thinking.

he has lost over 100 lbs and working hard to lose another 100.

His reasoning was "it was just easier, pop some pills, eat and drink what he wanted"

Think he may have seen that bright light.

It's kind of like being an alcoholic, it takes reaching rock bottom to force a change in behavior. My sister in law is 4 years younger than I am (we're 70 and 74). She is at least 100+ lbs overweight with two giant tires in her middle, she can barely walk due to her knees, she's getting all hunched over, she just looks awful in every way. She's 70 and looks much much older. I look 20 years younger than she does, I'm a slim weight, I ski in winter, I mountain bike, I go to the gym, I eat very carefully and don't eat any of the things that make my SIL so fat. She is definitely depressed, but thinks this all goes along with getting older despite seeing the shape I am in and thus knowing it's possible to be in good shape. I figure she's going to have a heart attack or stroke at some point.

On the subject of health I would recommend "Regenerate", by Sayer Ji but there are so many good books available. It was an interview with Daniel Reid in 1990 that changed my outlook on health. He has written several books on Chinese medicine and Taoism. Expand full comment

Also going to look up Regenerate.

Have been following both Sayre Ji and Mercola for some time, Sayer Ji since the beginning of the pandemic.

Again, thanks for the suggestions.

Expand full comment

Joseph Mercola is one of the people I started following when the pandemic arrived. It quickly dawned on me everything he wrote was about becoming the healthiest possible version of yourself. That resonated with me.

Even though I'd been heavily into diet and exercise since the early 1990's I was always getting sore throats, colds, and sinus infections 3 or 4 times a year and I'd buy over the counter products to dampen symptoms and see a doctor to get pills/antibiotics.

Mercola opened my eyes to the fact I'd done nothing in the way of learning about natural methods to boost immunity and improve vascular/digestive/kidney health, etc.

At the age of 62 in March 2020 I got Covid and was sick for almost 7 weeks. During the last of those 7 weeks is when I read an article by Mercola about HCQ, Zinc, and Vitamins A, C, and D. I read another that contained a link to a study about quercetin acting as a zinc ionophore that transports zinc inside of cell walls where it then inhibits viral replication. I also recall him mentioning a yellow onion the size of a baseball contains about 7500 mg of quercetin.

For my next grocery order I added the vitamins and a bag of plain yellow onions.

Within 24 hours of taking the vitamins and sprinkling about 1/4 of a diced raw yellow onion onto each meal my symptoms began to abate (noticeably.) Three days later my symptoms were completely gone.

I kept the vitamins and raw yellow onion as part of my daily routine and haven't had so much as a sniffle since.

I read Chase Bank recently closed the accounts of not only Joe Mercola but many of his family members as well.

This speaks volumes about the side doing the censoring and pushing "the narrative."

Expand full comment

Absolutely. I have been a subscriber to his newsletters for many years and a user of his products. I have found him to be honest and forthright and always prepared to admit to a change of thought. That he has been targeted by government and the Center for Countering Digital Hate really highlights that he is on target. Chase Bank is despicable in their actions, targeting not only Dr Mercola but his employees and family as well.

Once a belief is enforced by fear tactics, these I believe are the ones that become embedded and are very hard to change. Many things about health and sickness are presented via fear based mind control. I saw on TV and heard the same message on radio regarding The Flu.

It was being sold by Kristi Yamaguchi. It went something like this, "Who is the Face of Influenza" and it turns out to be, you guessed it EVERYONE. She read a line regarding dying from Influenza and I believe that it was then implanted.

They sell other jabs with cartoons of Little Red Riding Hood for Whooping Cough and ultimately there is no end to the fear based propaganda. It is what it has always been throughout history, Eugenics and nothing but Eugenics. And from this comes Nat's analysis, blind faith, misconceptions driven by lies and deception and the silver bullet of man made medicine so that one can live willy nilly and a doctor will make it all better.

So maybe the lesson is, after mega doses of the shit house rat Tony Fauci and other white coats, it was written ......

Flattering Titles

“Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man. 22) For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.” (Job 32:21-22)

Adversity Makes Men, Prosperity Makes Monsters. Personhood leads to flattering titles. These titles get worshipped and then corrupted and lead to trusting that person/DOCTOR when he says its "safe and effective". If he doesn't say this and carry satans message, he or she loses the license to practice medicine which today we now know is a conduit for injectable poisons and have been for many years. Medicine is a military operation and this is why there is a Surgeon General. We are at war!

The FDA gives the green light to alcohol, cigarettes, sugar, bacon. ??

An FDA approval doesn't mean something "works" or is effective. Most of the FDA process for approval has much more to do with safety than efficacy. Those trials, on animals first and then humans, is about safety largely.

But here's the thing - besides ivermectin not doing anything to cure, prevent or treat covid 19 - if you have covid, or any disease, from cancer to colds and flus, the body, it's immune system, needs to not be encumbered by other things that will do it harm. All meds, treatments etc. have side effects, so now the immune system has to deal with those toxins, those impurities - and this takes away from it focusing on the antigen that is covid.

Doing nothing but rest is the best way for the body to heal. Drink water, eat simple, very simple foods, ideally raw, not much, not every day (food also has to be processed and that includes not just the digestive system but the immune system as well).

If one needs a respirator, ventilator, iron lung etc. as they go through the covid issues, then okay, that won't impact or interfere with the immune system doing what it has to do.

I never thought of ivermectin as killing COVID. I used it and for me, it worked. In reducing symptoms, yes. I'll take it. In keeping it from getting worse, yes, I'll take it. I don't think anyone was ever thinking we would "kill" covid. It's here forever more. But managing, treating, lessening symptoms, sure I'll take it. I bet there are lots of families who lost loved ones that if the option was to reduce symptoms and not kill covid AND survive...they would take ivermectin.

Expand full comment

Ivermectin will not, not at all, prevent you from dying from covid - if you have covid. Again, like a cough suppressant helps to suppress the cough perhaps allowing you to sleep and rest better as you ride out the cold, a cough suppressant will not kill the cold virus or prevent it from spreading or even killing you (people have died from colds).

And for anyone wondering - covid is not the same as a cold.

Expand full comment

If you acknowledge that ivermectin reduced symptoms, then you have allowed one hurdle in the efficacy of ivermectin to be cleared.

It is noted that you allowed for it but did not inquire as to WHAT symptoms were alleviated.

Body aches, for example, are alleviated with ivermectin. What is the mechanism of action for such a response? Is it a direct action on the muscles, direct action on the sensory apparatus, direct action against the virus proper, allowing the body a reprieve in its battle against the invader? What is the explanation? Why is it dismissed offhandedly as irrelevant? It rather could be quite illustrative of possible mechanism of action against covid infection, but if no one deigns to study it, it remains conjecture only. But, it cannot simply be dismissed--not per scientific methods and retain a shred of credibility, anyway.

And check out John Beaudoin's podcasts who is investigating all the death certificates in Massachusets (sp?) - I love his attitude as he believes this will all come out into the open with time and doggedness. He is digging into the data at individual levels to prove the governmental/media cover up and then suing the state for fraud. For example he is chasing the data on a 7 year old girl who died of covid according to the official stats but who in reality died of the jab. He knows because he has spoken to the parents.
