Good point, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't fight to keep the protections we currently have, i.e. we have to do this AND MORE (in case the implication of your comment was "there's no point in doing anything".
By the way, the US Constitution is wonderful in this regard, but that also hasn't really done much or anything to protect the rights of US citizens against the pandemic restrictions these last 2 years - but I doubt many of the US readers here would take that to mean they shouldn't do anything if Biden brought in a consultation to dilute say the First Amendment!
I'm not saying there's no point in doing anything but questioning what benefits the Human Rights Act has brought us, when the vibe has clearly been "Well it is a public health 'emergency' so the 'greater good' must take precedence over individuals."
Brexit was the ability to revise our own laws. Not least when it comes to dealing with the likes of extremist preachers, whom the ECJ protected. The new bill addresses this, buydoes not remove any of our basic rights of hebeas corpus, trial by jury etc. So it is important not to spread quasi hysterical misinformation that insists we will all be locked up, e.g., for refusing vaccination. We haven't, and we won't.
I'd already filled out the survey, but I've also just sent a nice summary of concerns directly to the HRA address and also my local MP. Thanks for the reminder to do more. It really is chilling.

Do you mean the same people who had no interest in exploring early outpatient treatment - who in fact actively suppressed early outpatient treatment (which is highly effective) - while at the same time promoted vaccines with no long-term safety data as "safe and effective" and with no meaningful surveillance for short-term or long-term safety... these same people want to be in charge of the "greater good" and what can or cannot additionally be discussed? I wonder how that will turn out.

Warne also had his two Frankenshots previously, and despite taking the vaccines he ended with covid after the second shot in August of last year: “It was a bit like a hangover, I had a pounding headache,” Warne was quoted as saying by The Herald Sun after recovering from COVID-19. “The first couple of days, when I tested positive, I just had a thumping headache and I had one day where I had the shivers, but (was) sweating, like when you have the flu.”
Pounding headache? Sounds more like early signs of vaccine blood clots than covid, doesn't it.
Since the denial about all the 'conspiracies' by 'anti-vaxxers' a friend of Warne posted on Twitter that he had his booster shot two days before he departed to Thailand. He had to take it to be able to travel. In Thailand he was complaining that he was not feeling well.
This has been in duscussion for a decade. Reason being that the EU changed 70 percent of the laws in England which, in short, gave illegal aliens and murderers more rights than the victims - a typical EU attitude. It made it impossible to deport illegal criminals etc. They want to reverse the EU insanity and have their own laws again.
Yes, along with a load of other issues as described e.g. on the Save Our Rights website. This goes way beyond curbing EU excesses (which of itself should be on the table for discussion)
