I didn't go for any Covid-related vaccines or boosters. And that decision was not based on science at the time; it was based on my intuition, critical thinking and just plain "I don't trust the govt. on most things!" orneriness. I am an average Joe; not a scientist, doctor, researcher or any type of medical professional.

But now that the science is out and the proofs are coming in like a tsunami, I am glad I am not vaxxed or boosted. But I am truly pissed off at the injuries and deaths of millions (potentially billions in the future).
So, Steve Kirsch, I applaud (once again) your tenaciousness in trying to expose the demonic lies of people who have profited immensely in their pursuit of this obscene anti-human agenda. I would be shocked if any of these challenges are accepted per your terms.
VA still pushing covid shots on veterans. They are recommending taking the covid shot and the flu shot at the same time even though it can increase the risk of stroke.
VA making it seem like they are doing us veterans a favor by marketing it as, "One visit. Two vaccines."
Never took the covid shot because I knew it was a bioweapon, just as covid itself was a bioweapon.
But, I saw many of my fellow veterans line up like sheep to take the death shot.
Kathleen, I just want to say thank you for serving. It sickens me how veterans are treated. I’m guessing you wouldn’t accept it, but we should be setting you up for life for sacrificing YOURS for OUR freedom. Thank you 🙏🏻
I will do that! Can you post a link to a worthy organization too? Thank you in advance. I’m looking forward to doing something impactful for our heroes. I’m not sure which organizations I can trust any longer.
Great article! Thanks for sharing it. Too many of us think homelessness is a choice, but for many it’s not. Glad to help in some small way. God bless you, Kathleen. You sound like a great person.
Maybe so, but you didn’t know that when you enlisted. You just proved my point. Whether you believe it or not, you are a hero to tens of millions of us. I have a sinking feeling that those words are embarrassing to you which only FURTHER proves my point. How do we repay you? What can WE do for YOU and all the other veterans? Nothing seems to be enough to me. Just please know how so many of us feel regardless of how crappy our government treats you.
If you live near a VA hospital you can volunteer your time.
Lots of vets are homeless or are in danger of becoming homeless. I support them by sending a monthly donation a faith-based homeless shelter that goes out into the community and provides needed items to the homeless. For example, this past summer they requested extra funds to provide bottled water during a heat wave. These guys are great. Many who work there have been homeless themselves or have wrestled with drug and alcohol addictions. They are dialed into VA points of contact to further help any homeless veterans they encounter.
You raised a sore point with me. I don't understand the mentality of veterans. These people served/fought because they were ordered to. Okay, maybe they didn't know/understand that they were fighting for the well-being of oligarchs (selfish financial and power-grabbing reasons, etc.) but I can understand because the (mostly well-intentioned) vets bought into the false promises of the military industrial complex (lies about "saving" democracy, our "way of life", America the saviour/shining beacon on the hill, ad nauseam). But the fighters come home either intact (physically, psychologically, emotionally and mentally) or broken men and women. And they let the VA treat them like shit. Kind of reminds me of Native Americans and the erstwhile Bureau of Indian Affairs.
How many vets are there in America? Huge numbers. Why don't they get together and rally against the corrupt agencies that mistreat them, deny them what they are due, abuse them with medications and don't help them reintegrate into civilian society? Why are there homeless vets? I share my answer at the end. Again, united we stand, divided we fall.
Is there a veteran's organization that has honestly, effectively and faithfully done their duty? I would like to know. And if there isn't, well by God, there ought to be one. If there is one, what the heck have they been doing?
Pathetic world we live in, where the minuscule minority run roughshod over the majority. I am reminded of the very first time I rode a horse. My thought was this: If this powerful animal would only realize what a puny creature (myself) was sitting on its back, then it could easily throw me off and be free. But I suppose when I held the reins (of power), the horse knew I was in control. I suppose people are like that horse -- collectively powerful but unwilling or unable to use that power to eject the puny minority controlling us. And they know this very well.
A lot of veterans have medical problems that were incurred while on active duty.
PTSD, traumatic brain injury, depression, anxiety, military sexual trauma, Gulf War Syndrome caused by forced anthrax vaccines, exposure to Agent Orange.
Every veteran I know has some sort of injury or illness that happened on active duty.
Rally against the corrupt organizations?
All you have to do is see how the J6ers are/were treated for just protesting. People who only walked through the velvet ropes peacefully are hunted down like rabid dogs by the corrupt FBI.
Add in the trauma associated with the covid bioweapon, the covid bioweapon death shot, the lockdowns, school children being denied an education, forced covid death shot mandates on the military, police, college students, health care workers, etc.
I TOTALLY appreciate your observations and AGREE with the statements about the problems that vets face/d. My post would have been really long if I had included these points. So, thanks for pointing these out. My argument is that a veterans' organization is needed that serves the veterans. So far, the ones that do "serve" the veterans are corrupt, profit-based medical institutions and the corrupt, solely profit-based Big Pharma.
My solutions (borrowed from others) is that we have to start at the grassroots level -- vote in the proper people locally, and move on up from there to the top of the political food chain/ publicly fund all elections/ eliminate the revolving door relationship between govt service and lobbying, term limits/ school choice and home-schooling, etc. etc.
It would help to elect Joe Kent (Washington state) and Sean Parnell (Pennsylvania).
Two vets that have had multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Men who know what combat is and how it affects veterans. Not just the visible injuries, but also the ones we cannot see.
Recently there was a 73-year-old veteran who committed suicide at a VA healthcare facility in the Pittsburgh area. VA headquarters in DC refused to answer media inquiries.
This man's life was important. Yet, the story was squashed. VA says they care about the 22 veteran suicides each day, but it is just a glib soundbite.
Disabled American Veterans (DAV) had a covid death shot mandate. Like those morons learned nothing from the anthrax vaccine causing Gulf War Syndrome.
What a sad commentary on our veterans' condition. It's a damning indictment of an uncaring system that a 73-year old would go to the extreme and take his own life. He should have been happy that he returned from battle safe to be with his family and friends, well-cared for and enjoying the last chapter of his life.
We ask them to go fight and die in a foreign land, only to have them return to their homeland to die (sometimes alone), forgotten and in pitiable ways and circumstances. No matter the age, 18 or 80, they should be given the proper care, treatment and attention.
Anytime a govt. agency says, we care (glaring example: CDC), the bile rises in my throat. I say, show us the care. Let us hear from veterans themselves: "Yes, we are being cared for, and we are happy." Until then, it just shows another broken promise, demonstration of lack of responsibility and ingratitude by the government. This is not a Democratic, Republican or Independent issue; it's an American issue.
It was a triple whammy! Not only did we lose an innocent life, the govt undoubtedly dismissed this man as a potential terrorist (“Our case is considered closed,” they declared, without any interest in the WHY of the suicide) and the mainstream media dutifully finished off the job but not without some regret -- this news segment would have gotten more views and online clicks if there were some victims, dammit.
The reaction? The gullible normies sat back on their couch with their TV remote, a donut and a coffee and heaved a sigh of relief that yet another no-doubt MAGA Trumper is not around to sow fear into their hearts and minds and destroy democracy. The children are safe again from these crazies but hey, it's time to get that 5th booster in them. You know, Trust the Science!
Thanks for the link. I read the letter and it is just an unadulterated bs letter. Like you rightly pointed out, the focus is entirely on the firearm and how the facility failed to prevent a gun from being brought inside. Gimme a break! Suicide is suicide, whether by hanging, gunshot, poison, high speed driving, etc. If he had taken poison to end his life, would the facility have checked all visitors for poison vials?
Pathetic response by an elected representative, but I am not at all surprised. We don't exactly send the best and brightest to Washington DC. There are a few, but they are also compromised or have their hands tied behind their back by rules/procedures, colleagues, Big Lobby, etc. So now we have the hospital, congressman and media focused on the same thing: ooh, the gun! Yup, the system is working fine. For them, but not for Americans.
I didn't go for any Covid-related vaccines or boosters. And that decision was not based on science at the time; it was based on my intuition, critical thinking and just plain "I don't trust the govt. on most things!" orneriness. I’m in the chicago area and the VA is located near Great Lakes Naval Station. I’ll be volunteering thanks to you.
I will do that! Can you post a link to a worthy organization too? Thank you in advance. I’m looking forward to doing something impactful for our heroes. I’m not sure which organizations I can trust any longer.
This is the organization in Pittsburgh that I do a monthly donation.
https://www.lightoflife.org/
Done! $250 donated in your honor!
Thank you!
Here is a recent article on how the Light of Life Mission in Pittsburgh is helping homeless veterans.
Also other organizations in Pittsburgh.
https://triblive.com/news/health-now/veterans-need-help-homelessness-among-those-who-served-continues-to-be-cause-for-concern/
Great article! Thanks for sharing it. Too many of us think homelessness is a choice, but for many it’s not. Glad to help in some small way. God bless you, Kathleen. You sound like a great person.
Thank you for your kind words.
I wish I could do more for you than just kind words. You and every other brave soul who has served. I’m eternally grateful.
There are others who made more of a sacrifice than I ever did.
In Pennsylvania, you can get a license plate for your vehicle that reads, "Gold Star Family."
It tells the world that you had a family member who died in combat.
Sobering..and sad...to see them.

Two more comments from me.
People who support wars do not have kids in the military.
People who criticize veterans have never spent one day in the military.
A lot of veterans have medical problems that were incurred while on active duty.

The US is in crisis.
And I do not have a solution.

Yes, the US is in crisis, a dire one, but we have a guideline to address the problems. It's called the US Constitution. For example, as Dr. Mercola summarized, County Sheriffs can achieve fantastic results in the fight against the elitists. https://live.childrenshealthdefense.org/chd-tv/events/world-premiere-covid-unmasked-2020-and-beyond-or-sept-11-14/covid-unmasked-part1-the-problem-rebroadcast/

Excellent comment.
It was distressing to read the story. Who was this man? Why did he feel as if he had no other choice but to end his life by suicide?
And he chose not to do it at home but on the grounds of a VA healthcare facility.
No doubt making a statement.
The emphasis on the news story was about "sneaking" a gun into a VA facility.
VA probably dismissed it as a 2A Trump supporter. In other words, his life didn't matter.

Here is the letter Congressman Deluzio wrote to Director of the VA healthcare system in Pittsburgh.
Pretty much paid a blip of attention to the actual suicide of the veteran.
But...made a big deal about the gun.
