Right, the tech giants not only gobble up data, but also competitors. It's easy to be #1, when you have limitless funds. Mike Benz and Dr. Mercola concluded in a recent interview how a surveilled and monopolized internet was always baked into the cake, and I agree with them.
The Information Industrial Complex (US government, CIA, Pentagon, DARPA, etc.) were the founders of tech giants such as Google, FB, Insta, and Twitter and given huge budgets to dominate the market, and acquire any competition on the road to monopoly.
In the interview Mike Benz describes the false Free Market-paradigm:
"If you're not satisfied with Google, Facebook, Twitter, you can just build your own"
When somebody did that (Parler) and it turned out to be an actual competitor, it was shut down hard, in every conceivable way.
So in essence, we live a medium hard totalitarian "Public Partnership" world -- an euphemism for the merger of the corporations and the state -- which is fascism. Or Corporatism? Or Vaxxism? It's hard to find a good word for it. Others use Collectivism, Marxism, Bolshevism, or Communism. But in my dictionary, that's something else. Or maybe they're all the same?
