Follow the True God

“Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, ‘Choose one bull for yourselves and prepare it first, for there are many of you, and call on the name of your god, but do not light a fire underneath.’”

— 1 Kings 18:25

I am sure of your good intentions Chief, but you seem to spout nonsense. What connection does Elijah's challenge to the prophets of Baal have to do with this movie? I am a believer in God too, and a Bible student but throwing out nonsense does not advance the cause of Christ./ Think it through, my friend.

Well, please explain the connection between the story of the Prophets of Baal and the current affairs of the world. I am broad minded and willing to listen, if I can understand what you are trying to say. Be clear. Simply throwing out scripture out of context does not suggest that you understand what you read.

Solomon’s

Ecclesiastes 1:9 says, “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” It never ceases to amaze me how these words of Solomon’s, written 3,000ish years ago, are so precisely true today. / https://www.gotquestions.blog/nothing-new-under-the-sun.html#:~:text=Ecclesiastes%201%3A9%20says%2C%20%E2%80%9CWhat%20has%20been%20will%20be,3%2C000ish%20years%20ago%2C%20are%20so%20precisely%20true%20today.

Listen Chief, most people do not study the Bible and have no reference to the text that you quote. But when you throw a text out there that people cannot connect to the issue at hand, you are confusing rather than enlightening. As for Bible students not criticizing other Bible students when error is perceived, that is also not a Bible teaching as there are numerous passages that show that Paul and Peter as well as Jesus told some of their audiences that they do not know or understand the scriptures. The words of Solomon are indeed precise, but the way that you use them is not so clear.
