I’m not all that concerned about those. Remember the COVID vaccine has caused 2.5x more deaths and injuries than all of those others in the past thirty years.

You must not have a medically compromised young child that CANNOT be 💉 and since California (thanks to evil Pan) no longer recognizes medical exemptions, that child is BANNED from a public education (many private schools as well). That child is being DISCRIMINATED against and treated as an outcast. You must not be aware of the increase in childhood 💉 or the ingredients being injected into innocent children. You must not be aware that even 1 death or adverse reaction is 1 too many yet there are thousands. You obviously don’t care about MEDICAL FREEDOM which is just another freedom our politicians are trying to strip away from us. So you do you but I pray to god Shellenberger is NOT elected. I AM concerned and so are many many others.

I believe you can still get medical exemptions in California, it’s just personal belief and religious exemptions you can’t get, at least for schoolchildren (religious exemption allowed for university students and for COVID vaccines for school children apparently). You may have to do a bit of doctor shopping though. And if you can’t, well homeschooling is better anyway.

Also none of those vaccines have been mandated in the same capacity as COVID vaccines which have been mandated for concerts, restaurants, stuff like that.

No you cannot medical, religious or personal belief exemptions in California. They are persecuting doctors who used to do it, and it is now impossible. There is no such thing as “doctor shopping.” It is outright discrimination. It is true homeschool is a better alternative than public schools these days but surely you are aware for some it is an impossibility. What I have been talking about is the childhood mandates in order to attend school, nothing to do with concerts, restaurants or any other “stuff”. You know, a child’s basic right to a public education, that our taxes pay for, and many children are illegally denied because they cannot be shot up with chemicals. It IS NOT one size fits all. What’s right for your child could kill mine. If you had a child with a peanut allergy would you look at say a cookie and say well those 5 kids ate it so I will go ahead and give it to mine and maybe he won’t react to it this time? Same thing. If a child had a seizure after 💉 no big deal according to our politicians. Either follow the outrageous schedule or you are BANNED from attending. #MedicalFreedom #NoMandates

I don’t have a child but my twin sister was homeschooled by my abusive foster parent who was poor as fuck. Surely there are cheaper homeschooling options nowadays with the technology we have now?

Can’t you sue for not allowing medical exemptions? If the doctor determines that your child will be harmed by a vaccine and yet the school still discriminates against them that is a violation of the Civil Rights Act regarding persons with disabilities. For that matter the ban on religious exemptions should also be challenged in court. It’s bad enough that they allow religious but not personal belief exemptions in universities, that’s discrimination against atheists and people who use science instead of religious dogma to determine their personal beliefs. If there is no measles or polio outbreak in the area then there is no compelling reason to restrict this Constitutional right.

I’d prefer that vaccines aren’t mandated at all and instead that noninvasive, quick and convenient tests for all those diseases be developed and required for unvaccinated children. Maybe all the parents would choose those instead of vaccines.

I seriously doubt the healthy people of California are going to start lining up to be tested for a variety of diseases. My hope at this point is that people will do adequate research on the most pertinent issues today to be sure they vote for a candidate they fully believe in. At this point in time our current politicians running this state could not care less about constitutional rights, violation of civil rights, or discrimination. It is up to the people to fight like hell to retain what rights we still have and fight like hell for those that have been taken from us. There is a reason major corporations as well as many many families have fled this state. There are major bills coming up this week that if passed you will see even more of an exodus. Please do some research!

I looked up the rate of measles in the US. It shot up in 2019, went way down in 2020, and is still below usual in 2021 and 2022. Certainly the population is less vaccinated as a whole against measles than it was in 2019 though. Proof that quarantining prevents diseases better than vaccines?

And I thought the policies here were good for corporations? At least for Hollywood, but they can’t really leave so easily now can they? Other than that the agriculture industry is suffering because there’s a drought which is probably caused more by poor farming practices than by climate change but corporations use climate change as an excuse not to accept any particular culpability in environmental issues they’ve caused.

And all the homeless people who I imagine come here because there are no support programs for them in other states or the weather is too bad to live homelessly. Some states even buy bus tickets for their homeless just to send them here so they don’t have to deal with them.

Agree. Have a daughter who developed failure to thrive as a 9 month old after the Hib and DTP---didn't want to eat and fell below the 3% rapidly, no chubby cheeks or ringlets. Worked with a pediatric gastroenterologist for 18 months to put weight back on. I also developed a malignant cancerous tumor stage 4 in my deltoid where I had all my flu shots given. Dr. Pan should understand not everyone can take the same drugs, some people are allergic to penicillin. Not everyone can even tolerate the same foods, like peanut butter so how is that concept hard to understand? Schellenberger only recently said he's against C-19 drugs. He wants to do a state wide Psych program and eliminate individual county programs so made me wonder if there's a connection to Big Pharma.

Should ask which drugs he’s against. Drugs like Remdesevir and Molnupiravir are bad.

Here's the thing; a bureacrat should not be deciding what drugs people should be given. As for Dr. Pan, he looks relatively young; he probably hasn't seen enough patients or not recognized adverse effects., or perhaps his patients aged out of his practice. There are some conditions that are more rare that some practitioners don't see in a lifetime of practice or maybe just one case. This was to be the era of personalized medicine with recognition of everyone's unique genome. There's so much diversity, that practitioners must learn how each disease/condition presents in different people.

I agree, it should be left to the doctors even if the doctor are corrupt but that’s a different issue that should be solved other ways.

How do you feel about bureaucrats deciding whether trans children should be getting puberty blockers or hormones or surgery though? Do you think they should ban that, or do you think the medical establishment should have the sense not to do that where it isn’t warranted? (Could be warranted in very limited situations such as for an intersex child) The medical establishments in Europe have already come around on that issue so if the US still hasn’t then it must be due to corporate corruption. I can’t imagine the trans lobby being that lucrative though. It’s not like there are any fresh patents on puberty blocking medications (used for premature puberty for ages already) or hormones which are just unpatentable chemicals from nature.
