I would be interested to know the details to this because there are exactly zero commercially available mRNA vaccines for use in cattle and pigs. As of right now the only mRNA vaccine being used in cattle is in early phases of a trial at Iowa State University. There is a pig mRNA virus that is in development in Kansas for African Swine Fever but those experiments won’t be completed until 2024. Don’t get me wrong the potential use of mRNA vaccines in food animals is of serious concern and should be. But I haven’t seen any evidence that this is happening anytime soon, and I’m in a position to know if it was.
