What I think people are missing that this is a win win for politicians. They institute a policy (in the name of a public health emergency of course), you either submit (good citizen, probable voter) or you leave (they don't want you anyway because you won't vote for them). There is no downside for the politicians doing the mandate.
Who cares about "modified quarantine"? Just keep them home for the full whatever number of days. Refuse all tests and don't give in. Yes. Need to leave California or gear up for homeschool for fall to be safe.
Part of this is because the residents go along with it. If people stopped taking the tests that would be a good start, but they are addicted to panicking and many people in Marin just consider their kids to be a necessary inconvenience always getting in the way of their personal and professional lifestyles. Marin is where 9 of of 10 narcissists would choose to live.

Surgeons wear a mask for about 15 min then throw it away and get another one. They don't wear the same mask for hours/days on end which is what vast majority of people are doing. They use them so they don't spread bacteria to the person they are operating on - it isn't to protect themselves from infection. And yes, there have been fatalities, news of people dying while driving their cars and wearing a mask too much. There are lots of people dying right now -how many of them from mask wearing but it is reported as covid?
Really focus in on all of these comments about MILLIONS upset and knowing better but still allowing pos like Willis & Santora to control every aspect of their,.....YOUR lives!! Is it not time to stop typing, stop complaining and actually grow a spine and stand up to this madness? Until you take all of their power away they still control your lives PERIOD!!
These public health meetings are beginning to sound like the exchange between Custer and the muleskinner in Little Big Man. My wife is currently in the attic bedroom, fully vaxxed….with COVID, one of my sons triple vaxxed along with his girlfriend came down in December…with COVID, one of my daughters had a virtually symptomless case in school, still forced to to vax by her college…became sicker than a dog from the shots. I did have a rather unpleasant conversation with the Dean who forced the nonsensical policy where I gently (but deliberately for legal purposes) informed her that I would hold her directly responsible for any harm in the Jacksonian sense. Think that went over her head, but I meant it.
