You posted. I’ll respond. I've watched the video. He is lying.

You may choose to do what you want with your body. Your call. My beef is with lies. I’ve lost too many close friends and relatives to this disease to sit silent. The Ninth Commandment directs “No lying”. I take that seriously.

As to the video, the speaker gives his name, and the truthfulness goes downhill from there. When I received my doctorate, I was instructed to follow the convention of nearly all PhDs; “Never introduce yourself as a ‘doctor’ if it could be misconstrued as a medical professional. Rather, simply state, ‘I have a doctorate in…’”. This individual is intentionally giving the impression that he has medical expertise (which he does not, it is in education) and implies that his degree is from the prestigious Oxford University (which he did not, he went to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio). This sort of deception doesn’t set well with me.

Okay, the “facts” of the video are not substantiated at all.

Dr. Sean Brooks claims 21 years of study in health medicine, anatomy, and physiology. No record of that unless he claims the same sort of study you and I do when we browse the internet… but when you couple that with the false implication that he is a medical doctor, that claim is misleading to say the least (I call that lying). For the record, I DID study neural anatomy in my PhD degree, but that does not make me an “expert” in virology or medicine to use my doctorate to imply something I’m not. I’m an informed consumer willing to look at the data and respect the reasoned opinions of those who truly ARE the experts.

He claims that Robert Malone is the creator of the mRNA vaccine (no single individual is the developer, it has been a team effort), and Malone did NOT say “don’t take it under any circumstances whatsoever”, Malone argued simply for completing clinical trials first. Fair enough. Dr. Brooks was lying to quote that. The “statistics” quoted by Brooks of immune system compromise are completely fabricated (again, lies). I can say that 87% of statistics are made up on the spot, but that doesn’t make it true no matter how “scientific” it sounds. Zero evidence for Dr. Brooks’ claim.

He says, “The people who have taken it will die in six months to 3-5 years”. Again, lying and fear-mongering. Zero evidence. It has been more than three years... no wave of deaths, interestingly enough. But the disease is now well in check due to vaccinations.

He says, “If you take the booster shot you will die”. Wow. Just Wow. This is very demonstrably false. Inasmuch as folks are already receiving boosters (and not dying), he is again spreading a lie. I've had four now.

He claims that the vaccine will cause antibody dependent enhancement (ADE). I actually know something about this. It was a legitimate concern in the early stages of the mRNA vaccine development (because it had been seen in a few other mRNA vaccines in the past) and I’ll admit that I was skeptical of its development early on for that reason. The researchers developing it were VERY much aware of the possibility and were careful to look for it in the clinical trials. They looked for it and found exactly ZERO evidence for ADE. Again, a demonstrable lie from Dr. Brooks.

Oddly enough, the one true thing he states is that cytokine storms are linked to organ failure. That is what led to the death of my niece’s husband. The catch is that the cytokine storms are observed in the course of the disease, NOT the vaccine! Clinical trials have proven this. Again, Dr. Brooks is lying.

Blood clotting: He claims that “everyone who has taken the jabs is blood clotting”. Outrageously false. The only vaccine with any link to blood clotting issues was the Johnson & Johnson vaccine (NOT Pfizer or Moderna), and even among those, it has been a small percentage. Again, Dr. Brooks is demonstrably lying.

Claim: “millions have died from the jabs”. Um… No. There have been about 1,000,000 deaths from COVID -19 in the US so far. I think we might have noticed if we were seeing a large number of vaccine-related fatalities. Dr. Brooks is lying again. The reality? A few thousand deaths (not millions) have been potentially linked to adverse reactions to the vaccine (where ANY death after the vaccine is reportable, even those who may have died from other causes such as a fall or heart attack). Even if you include those, the risk was only about 1 in 50,000. In contrast, here in my county, in the first 6 month of COVID, the chances of dying from the disease once contracted was 1 in 55 at one point. The vaccine is MUCH safer than the disease.

Claim: “you’re going to sterilize [your children] permanently”. “80% of the women who have taken the jab have lost their children”. Both of these claims are flagrantly false. Zero evidence of this happening. Again <sigh> Dr. Brooks is lying to people.

“You’ve also injected yourself with the equivalent of HIV”. Seriously? I don’t even know how to respond to that. He might as well have said that it turns you into a pumpkin. Another lie. And “Yes”, you can still donate blood afterwards. My wife and I have done so without any problems. He claims that you will be denied… another lie.

As I said before, I’m fine with people making their own choices as whether to get the vaccine and they take responsibility for it. I just want to ensure that the folks on this thread have accurate information. Don’t believe random internet posts. Don’t mindlessly believe what I say. Talk to your own general practitioner or other medical doctor. They have dedicated years of specialized study in medicine. They are not going to try to harm you. They would be happy to set up a time to discuss this with you if you are willing to hear. Don’t waste their time if you just want to argue… their 10 years of study and residency trumps your google searches.

In light of the above, do you really want to base your decision making on the false claims of people like Dr. Brooks?

P.S. I’ve had both shots and boosters and like hundreds of millions of other Americans, I feel fine. I don’t want to deprive my family of a husband and father. I hope you don’t either.
