Springfield 45 ACP. I take it to the range for practice. I never want to use it on a human. But I believe we are living in the end times and as people have commented you have an obligation to protect your family.
The Anglican priest at our church here in NZ was pushing the Covid jabs on the congregation ("take one for the team," he urged) and was happy enough to kowtow to our (then) Marxist/globalist Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and close down our church for fear of a virus with an over 99.8% survival rate, even without treatment. Oh, yes, Christians are to quake with FEAR and completely forget about their God-given immune system. And then later, only the vaccinated were allowed to attend church services.
Satan and his minions must have laughed with glee to witness such a craven display, such a low point in our historic church's history.

At a church I used to go to in the '90s I went hunting with the deacons and the pastor - let's just say they like guns. I always suspected that they were armed during services. In today's world many deacons and security are armed in church.
Most people would not believe it, but you are right. Most clergy I know are armed one way or another. The exception is my Buddhist friends. All refuse to own weapons. I have not brought my handgun to church, as I know a couple regular members that have concealed carry, but it has crossed my mind. My 45 ACP is pretty big and heavy. It's not really a concealed carry pistol. But I know several other pastors some methodist some Baptist. They are all from the deep south and all have rifles and handguns.
I have a soft spot for the 45acp after a reloader fired his with a round half way down the barrel. He had forgotten to put the powder charge in one case. I was standing next to him and saw the whole thing. Any other pistol would probably have injured us both.

Yours is the kind of church I wish I could attend, where several members are carrying concealed for the protection of fellow churchgoers. Here in NZ, we are not allowed to own and carry pistols unless the gun owner is registered with a nearby "pistol club" and the pistol must be kept at the club. NZ specifically does not recognise that self-defense is a basic human right, and every person applying for a gun license here must acknowledge that there is no such thing as using a gun in self-defense. NZ is trending increasingly Communist and globalist.
I find it interesting that Falun Gong are pacifists and thrive here - protected by US non-pacifists from Red China where they are often killed and their organs harvested. Here they have the freedom to scold Communism with impunity and enjoy their pacifism.
