None now. Long ago I was certified in respirators for shipboard work. I know that none are capable of filtering out viruses. Well, at least none that are readily available by most. And I know that hows and whys. Shocked that most of that is not common knowledge.

I also know that the filter/s need changed frequently, far more frequently than wearing one all day long. I also know the danger to health for using the filter/s past their rated life spans, which is far shorter than a full dayтАЩs work. Shocked that so few know basic hygiene, especially medical professionals.

Soap and water and a shop vac.

At lunch and at 4P.

Air dry.

Change cans and filters as necessary.

And good ventilation otherwise, anyway.

Happy lungs.

Happy me. :)

Yes, that was our work schedule. I have since read many places that surgical masks, including during surgeries lasting longer are to changed every 4 hours. I also believe that was the time limit of our CBR masks too.

I now teach at med schools and long since not needed a respirator or a mask.
