I agree. I recently got my brother to get off statins. I see how one prescription leads to another. How fear is used to keep people coming back. A deadly industry.
With the new much lower "normal blood pressure" guidelines amid the cholesterol controversy, the medical/biopharmaceutical industrial complex assures that practically everyone will be placed on BP meds and statins. A steady supply of patients needing many doctor visits for monitoring and more prescriptions. Ka-ching!
