Prof. Stanley Omaye at UNR once told me that mercury contamination in the environment could be safely treated with selenium, since it binds strongly to mercury and then mercury is no longer bioavailable. But the EPA opposed that proposal, stating that one could not use another ‘contaminant’ (i.e., selenium) to treat a contamination! I wonder if by supplementing selenium it would bind to mercury in the body. I am using selenium supplements.

Leave it to the FDA to mess things up. Consider sodium+chlorine.

From my experience with both Calcium Edta and selenium-3 pieces Brazil nuts daily plus what amounts is in my AOR multivitamin and minerals I take -I think it’s a keeper. Great for men too.

And maybe look into Pueraria Mirifica for men.

Super energetic Dr Gordon, the father of oral chelation with EDTA, was big fun of it. Pueraria Mirifica is so underrated, have a look into NIH abstracts. For women is a great choice if well documented for each situation. Always, doctors formulations, not the plant powder.

Best health to you!
