I bet you all these people shilling for the V aren’t up to date with their shots and probably aren’t taking the new up to date one, which proves deep deep down they also don’t believe it’s either safe or or effective.
Here "the wisdom of the crowds" is more to do with statistics than real "wisdom". It is a well documented phenomenon where it has been observed that a crowd is better than even trained individuals in certain activities, for instance guessing the number of marbles in a jar at the carnival.
