I have read most of the book and I have to tell you, the chapter on the mysteries of polio have really made me want to look more into the “no virus” theory. Steve, I know you’ve made up your mind on this, but despite how much I admire you for your anti vaccine efforts, I am open minded about the possibility everything we’ve been told about what a virus is or isn’t is wrong. How can we trust what we’ve been told in light of everything going on today in our medical industry.
I almost bought the wrong version because I didn't realize "Turtles all the way down" is a saying. Maybe I'm in the tiny percentage of the people who didn't get it, but so people don't waste time looking at the wrong version.... this is the book Steve is talking about.
I actually tried this tactic once with my mom, as we were debating a certain topic. I offered her $100 just to watch a 1hr video, and I told her if she thought it was complete BS at the end she could keep the $100, but she refused.
Money does talk, but even it won't assuage the adages that it is easier to fool people than to convince them they've been fooled...a man convinced against his will, etc... Desmet's research indicates that 20-30% will never read the book bc they are [essentially] zombies worshipping technocratic totalitarians, and let's face it, the rest are too prideful to admit they've been duped. Think about the hard lines they took, antithetical to every foundational principle of the republic...like for three years. Satire & shaming [without necessarily naming] will be the only way to get the real assholes who know they're wrong, but don't want to admit it, to read that book. Scott Adams should publish a new comic series on Substack with the character: "Spike..."
One method I have used is “you read my article or listen to my podcast, and I’ll read or listen to yours.” It only worked once so far, and I didn’t convince the guy, but I did think we got more past the weeds into a real and fruitful conversation.

And by using simple techniques of observation this traditional approach seems very powerful as an ETP!

I agree with their logic that Ivermectin is safe and cheap and may well help, so that it is bad advice to therefore claim that because it is not a proven silver bullet it is “not recommended.” I also grand validity to the point that extravegent claims for stand-alone efficacy for Ivermectin should be avoided. But as you point out, the article, including the headline, leaves a lot to be desired on account of what it does not express.
ETP - Early Treatment Protocol. As my remaining brain cells understand it, ETPs are more successful when used early. Common sense would suggest as a part of the ETP is immune boosting, then the sooner you boost the better. I expect many of those for whom the Covid was no worse (or much less so), than an ordinary cold were people with a pre-boosted immune system. I might be a md-range example of that at 57. Despite being a very social international mingling animal and surrounded on multiple occasions by those suffering Covid, I have so far only had 1 mild dose of Covid. I have never used the ETP in totality even when I was ill, many important ingredients were not readily available or even allowed. But I do get and boost occasionally with high quality nutraceuticals and maintain a reasonably healthy lifestyle, only occasionally topped up with Ale and Red Wine!

Thank you for the, obvious in retrospect, clear up on “ETP.” Yes, common sense would suggest that early intervention is superior. Once diagnosed or suspected, hit it fast and hard. One of the early tells that something was off – way way off – on the whole Covid narrative was the suggestion that if one contracted Covid that “There is nothing you can do. Go home until your symptoms are dire enough that you need hospitalization. Then give us a call.” Anyone with two functioning brain cells could see this was complete crap, not to mention just plain weird. And it was also at odds with established medical practice as applied theretofore to everything *but* Covid.
I am in my late 60s and have not contracted Covid, i.e., have never had symptoms. I take the usual preventative supplements – vitamin D, zinc, selenium, magnesium, and others. I have paid attention to my physical health since I was young. So am choosing not to get caught up in the fearmongering. I also have some Ivermectin on reserve – just in case.
I bought 3 copies; one for me, one for my doctor, and one for her to slip into the doctor's lounge at the hospital. The first chapter starts out so engagingly, I wondered, did I order the wrong book? I then sent a copy to two friends. Ebay had great prices, free ship and the books were all in very good condition.
I’m intrigued. Just started reading Turtles. I can’t stop questioning the timeliness of this book. It was first published in Israel in early 2019 (right before the Covid pandemic) and in September 2019 it received a positive review in Harefuah - the leading medical journal in Israel - thus, thrusting it into the spotlight amongst those that question vaccines safety and effectiveness. Did the authors know about this looming pandemic? Did they know a vaccine was going to emerge via Operation Warp speed? Did they know if was going to be mandated? Did they know a possible digital ID was in the works? The thorough examination of scientific basis and claims and support for questioning vaccine safety is eye opening. Would love to know what the authors knew and when!

The only speculation I have is that perhaps they took "Event 201" to heart, and were proactive in writing the narrative from that event, which was spot on about what would take place. If government, the media and big pharma - but I repeat myself - got their script/context from that event, so could those who wrote the book have gotten context.
