That's just an option to not publicly publish our private information. What am requesting is the option to not have to share my phone number at all. Because any database can get hacked, and I don't want my private phone number associated with my political leanings. Call me paranoid or whatever...and yes, I know that someone could find it…

Call me paranoid or whatever...and yes, I know that someone could find it if they searched hard enough, but why make it easy for them? ;)
