You shouldn't get any vaccine unless you can verify there is a positive risk-benefit analysis that has been done that is compelling. That means you should ignore what the CDC says about the flu vax.
Prior to covid it was mainly Heathcare workers and military in the US that were subject to mandatory vaccination. I do not know if any of this was actually legal. I'm a veteran and was a nonmilitary physician. I have never had a covid shot but been injected with so many things. But no more. I have many health issues and I'm only 57. I blame multiple "vaccines" especially the ones I got in the military for my current state.
Most shots are pushed by physicians. I worked with MDs for years. Liked DO's better, but there were some good doctors, but they were forced out even before covid. If they practiced old fashioned medicine, management would fire them. My favorite doctor rarely wrote for medicines or vaccines. He would counsel his patients on lifestyle modification, diet, exercise and nutrition. Kaiser fired him. Was married to a cop. Some cities had expectations that traffic officers wrote a certain number of tickets. Similarly, some hospitals and HMO's had expectations you wrote a for a certain number of medications or vaccines. If you do not play along you are gone. This is about $$$$ not patient well-being.
Years ago, in the Air Force our entire squadron was forced to get the flu shot. Within 1 day 70% had high fevers, muscle and joint pain and severe weakness. There was a Marine company on our base as well. Thier commanding officer did not require flu shots of his troops. The marines never got sick.
So if you are in the USA Mercury Thimerosal was taken out of vaccines in 2021. As for flu, not that they told you but you can ask for a Thimerosal free version. Not that the removal of it makes any difference they are still junk in my eyes now.
I was an apprentice in 1976 when the government owned employer stated "you get the flu shot or you don't get sick pay", when the Dr. came the following day 85 of the 87 apprentices got the jab, only myself and one other didn't, the day after that the jabbed started collapsing at the bench or machine tool they were being trained to operate. The head of the training school stopped everyone who'd been jabbed from working, including the training staff, in the end ~90% were off sick for at least 3 days, some for over a week, the issue over sick pay was never raised again...
We are all on the same team. I served in the Army and Air Force but never in combat. I have the ultimate respect for Marines. They have always been a little different. We need them.

[CA has an opt out but i have never heard of needing corroboration from "science". You just pay the initial fee, ($75 unless you qualify as low income) and then $10/month for 3 years (less per month if low income)].

Might be a good idea to make sure the thing really isn't transmitting (by using a RF - radiofrequency - detecting meter which you may be able to borrow) - they used to put real analog meters (like your original meter) back on back in 2012 when demanded, then at times would put in one that LOOKED like an analog but was a new digital meter. Now i have heard that they often (or usually) put in a digital meter with the RF transmitter turned off, BUT they can turn it on remotely - so good idea to check. Also make sure if you have natural gas that they didn't smartmeter that as well. You know, most people in CA don't even know they can opt out.
