Any one who read that Alzheimer article & didn't immediately scream "FAKE" should NOT be giving anyone any advice on longevity or anything else. Vaccines do not work, our bodies do not work the way vaccinologists say they do. We cannot poison ourselves & expect good health as a result. I personally don't take longevity advice from anyone under 100 years old.

I'm 94. I will wait a bit before I contact you!

94 is close enough! I am 75. What do you do that keeps you going & engaged?

Various factors I guess. My father went to 103. I recall taking my father for a rare visit to Dr. I said to Dr. ....he takes no medication at all. The Dr. replied ...'that's why he is 100.

Since 2020 I have kept my vitamin D at around 80 - 100ng plus K2 and magnesium.... liposomal Vit C .

For my childhood years up to 25yrs most all our food came from our garden.Minimal processed food since.

When I was 12yrs my mother had TB.Neither my father nor I caught it. Good immune systems ??

Healthy lifestyle. Keen body surfer. Was still surfing at 76.

K2 is interesting. I have been taking it with vit D and currently have high vit D blood test. This never happened before in my entire life. I know they are supposed to work together but.... There is so much BS around supplements. I'm also a big fan of vitamin C. I take about 2 g a day. But it took about a year to work. Then my gum pockets got better at the dentist. Never happened before. Prostate cleared up and has been permanently improved. And I get sick about 90% less. But only after about a year of taking it.

This is awesome

Body surfing is like going to gym. Uses every muscle. Then broken femur meant surfing was no longer possible due to loss of strength in that leg. My 2 eldest great grandchildren are involved in surfing. They are junior lifesavers....members of a surf club on the Gold Coast (Queensland - Aust).

I did not mention that my mother recovered from TB and lived active life to 86 ..... cardiac arrest .......and so missed hairdresser appointment.

I used to like body surfing on the Jersey Shore. Can't do body surfing in South Florida, the waves are too small

I’m not pro‑vaccine, but even by cautious standards the Wales shingles‑vaccine‑and‑dementia study seems compelling. It was a national, age‑based rollout in an entire country (Wales), so it wasn’t some tiny biased sample.

The analysis used over 280,000 adults, tracked for 7 years, and still found that people who got the shingles vaccine were about 20% less likely to be diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer’s, even after adjustment. This wasn’t a cherry‑picked sub‑group; it was a natural experiment created by an existing eligibility cutoff, and the association held across multiple follow‑up analyses.

My question is: given that this is strong observational evidence that a vaccine can reduce dementia risk in a real‑world population, why do you think no prominent vaccine‑safety critics have publicly addressed this finding?

Anybody heard from Bryan Johnson?

How’d his jabs go?

He’s disgusting.

He thinks because he “frames” his sexual activity in a statistical manner that makes it okay.

It’s just smut. And don’t give me that old refrain, Oh, we are all adults, here. He’s a vile freak.

Will be interesting to see the effects on his longevity labs. Hope someone clues him in to watch for things going off center. I can think of a few panels to watch the before and after results.

Bryan Johnson said he got the first 2 covid shots per an interview I watched a few years ago. Not sure if he got additional covid shots or not. I was shocked that he got them but I guess he didn’t study up on the downside to the shots. Or didn’t have access to the information or just couldn’t believe it.

I find it extremely odd that since many MANY people are against vaccines since the Covid fiasco, new “studies” are coming out touting the benefits of certain vaccines. All of a sudden this one lowers risks for Alzheimer’s, that one helps you live longer, etc? Yeah, I’m not buying it. They (pharma and main stream media) really think we’re stupid and have no memory of their shenanigans.

Bryan is probably getting money from Big Pharma - follow the money

Rumor has it that the TDAP shot contains aluminum. That might not be a good thing for longevity - unless you want a higher chance of alzheimers. For me: until a manufacturer shows an all cause mortality benefit, after a 5 year followup, in a saline-placebo-controlled trial, and for which they have accepted liability for any injuries, I'm going to say no. And if a shot contains aluminum, I'm always going to say no. "Any much is too much."

Steve, I have no idea who Bryan Johnson is but my guess would be he got the Covid shots and boosters too. Aside from that I appreciate your educating readers whether Bryan Johnson ever sees your column or not.

Bryan Johnson said he got the first 2 covid shots , per a video interview of him. Not sure if he got more or not.

I cant speak to the technical part of vaccines but Ive made up mind that Im done with vaccines in all shapes and forms. This coming from someone who willingly took the shingles vaccine just before Covid struck in 2020. I thought it was the smart thing to do. Not anymore.

You can seek info on the "tech aspect" of vaccine development by searching in online med journals for "ASIA syndrome" (autoimmune/inflammatory syndrome induced by adjuvants).

I began to wonder if the lymph system helped mitigate any problems related to adjuvants accumulating in muscle tissue. All I can find so far is mention of ASIA syndrome. In the meantime, I remain vaccine risk-averse to jabs recommended for a person age 70+. ...at least until I find some reliable insight on my chronic fatigue.

After all his education and clinical experience, and all that's become apparent over the last five years, Bryan Johnson is an educated idiot. Why are these dummies worthy of discussion?

I commented on his FB post yesterday saying he should read books like Dissolving Illusions and Turtles All The Way Down, and actually research vaccines properly. It's literally mind blowing that he spends his life researching health, yet has never delved into vaccines beyond the mainstream propaganda and corrupt $cience.

I beg you, don't get the shingles shots. I got them in Dec. 2019, ill instantly and have permanent PVCs- almost 40% of the heartbeats (never had them before). I read the research on the vaxx and it is vastly incomplete and useless. Please, don't take them.
