And don’t worry… I already have a new option so this will never happen again. If they try to take me down next time, they will regret it. I actually hope they do; we'll turn the tables on them.

Steve, when do you expect to have the data hosted again somehow else? Thank you!

some data cleanup (e.g. there are 4 recs having date_of_death < date_time_of_service)

and missing data (dose_number for the same mrn)

already downloaded all files (also loaded big csv into a local MS Sql server)

Calin, do you plan on hosting the data yourself in addition to Steve putting it up again? What is your interpretation of the data, does it look legit in your perspective?

Calin Timis's avatar

Not planning to host it - but I can send it to whoever wants it (strongly encrypted - of course) Didn't do too much analysis - but noticed some inconsistencies - like date_time_of_service > date_of_death - just 4 recs; missing dose_number for same person (mrn).

To answer your question - Is it legit ? not sure (I've 30+ years in IT) but I do know there's a lot of bad data CURRENTLY stored and used by large corps.

I think the answer to your question should come from "the horse's mouth" (e.g. WHISLE BLOWER). I'll keep digging - and if anything interesting - let you know.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Calin – my data analysis skills are quite minimal (only ever used SQL and Python to wrangle large data sets, but I'm no "data scientist" at all), so I think I'll hold off on diving into the numbers myself for now. I'll stay abreast to your thoughts and Steve's, and of course the whistleblower's updates if any.

FREE THE DATA (I want this T-shirt!)

From what I've seen, the initial data I got was half of the size of what it was supposed to be. I'll put up a torrent for the newer larger files later tonight when I get home at http://www.oretek.com/vsrf/

More importantly, I need to validate it by comparing it to what Steve Kirsch put up on his own site. The current image I have is just over 1GB.

I think you were very clever to let Wasabi out itself. Now everyone here knows just exactly what sort of people work there. Oh but I'm sure they were "just following orders."

I'm not sure if you're familiar with Andrew Torba and his Twitter alternative Gab, but he went through this and built his own everything so they can no longer deplatform him. You might get in touch and collab with him on ideas to further secure your platform. Just a thought from a stranger who doesn't know much of anything. Keep going. I pray for you every day, Steve.

Grow a mind.......

ad hominem

An ad hominem (Latin for "to the man" or "to the person”), short for argumentum ad hominem, is an argument made personally against an opponent instead of against their argument. Ad hominem reasoning is normally described as an informal fallacy.

It's more of the "everyone I don't like is Hitler" argument rather than an argument ad hominem.

I agree Kirsch does need to collab with anyone, he is smart, wealthy enough to get it done on his own. Gab has so far been as "free speech" as any social media, maybe even more so than all, and if he is a National Socialist....then he is doing a bad job of it.

I am very grateful to Alex Torba for providing a free speech platform such as Gab.com. I get very good intel from the other freedom-loving Gabbers on my local regional Gab group.

I would be taking anything Gabbers post with a grain of salt, same on any social media platform. The majority of it is not "very good intel" its garbage. You know how that works, garbage in, garbage out.

Trust but verify.......substack included, comments included. Gab is just a "conversational" device. Much like talking to someone on the street. The difference is Gab is less censorious than others. Nothing is pefect!

Expand full comment
Moonspinner's avatar

Because it's a small group in a specific area, I'm often able to check out the intel IN PERSON myself. And many don't even hide behind an avatar or pseudonym, as I do, so they personally can be researched. So, it's trust (if that Gabber has posted good intel previously), but verify.

As I wrote, I'm getting very good intel from some of them. I don't care if you don't believe it.

People get bent out of shape when they see opinion different than their own. We have our own "overton window". Anything outside it, and we want to censor it or badmouth the platform.

Expand full comment
SD's avatar

Incorrect, I never bad mouthed the platform, I questioned the validity of the so called "intel" that people post there. Don't take my comments and twist them to suit your own narrative. I would never call for censorship. People can say what they like it does not mean I am not entitled to call it out or question it. Simple fact is, you don't want your "intel" or are unwilling to be questioned on the validity of your comments or the information you are posting, don't post it. Your comment is typical of those who think they know better. That anyone who does question your points is trying to "Censor" or "badmouth", wrong on both counts.

Make them give you reason for the ban. I read thru wasabi legal section and don’t see tax payer funded whistleblower data being in violation. Maybe they are being threatened by some external force like the Twitter Files reveal.
