I'm counting on:

1. The slight push that they've received a book someone paid for.

2. The thought "Whoever sent me this book knows things. Maybe more things than I know. "

3. The thought "I'm a woman who made it to the top! This book is written by a woman doctor who has written books!"

These or a combination thereof could help her decide to at least flip through some pages, then I'm hoping she'll get hooked and read it.

Amazon reports delivered to mailroom. I was thinking another reason they might read is nobody is judging them as they read it. They can read it in the office with the door closed.

I was wondering if she would go through the trouble of sending it back to say "No! I won't look!" But the book has not been sent back. Interesting.
