In my mind I won because have not been totally dismissed. Also In my own mind I no longer believe she knows better and I am an idiot. I am sad that she is now so sick. She also had heart surgery recently. I just wrote her and expressed my sympathy and encouraged her that her boosters would probably keep them alive (the power of placebo!).
She ALREADY got boosted and was boasting about it. NOW they are perfectly protected!! YAY! I didn't encourage her to get boosted. I'm encouraging her now to get well. She is a ventilation specialist and works for Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC. After 911 she urged Wall Street NOT to open up. She stated air pollution is still a risk. She always votes for total protection. In the case of 911 she was correct. In the case of Covid, she is not. But this is her core motivation. Protect against disease and infection no matter what.

I understand, but personally I wouldn't encourage anyone to get boosted as a placebo-- because boosted people shed spike.
