The meanings of words narrow and broaden all the time. Society at large decides how words will be used. That's just the way it is. Society at large has apparently decided that gender is not just a linguistic concept. Think of all the other words that have changed meanings. Gender is just joining the parade.

You might want to keep the first half of your statement quiet. My sister has been gay since her teens, she and I both would have had the same childhood vaxxes - very minimal : smallpox & polio only. Everything in the body requires nutrients, whether it is neurotransmitters, hormones. Gender issues, test them for nutrient deficiencies, test their hormone levels. Certain countries, regions are deficient in selenium, molybdenum etc.... Infections can use up various nutrients, vaccines can use up nutrients, medical drugs can cause a problem with the body using/absorbing certain nutrients.
