I think it takes an awfully big leap of faith, not critical thinking, to make those claims by comparing a single county to the national average, especially when not even including the % vaccinations for each of those. There are just too many other variables that aren't accounted for.

It would be interesting to compare highly vaccinated counties in CA with other CA counties that were not highly vaccinated.
We already know the mRNA injections do not prevent covid infection or transmission. Fauci claims to have take 6 boosters and still caught covid 4 times.

On the whole, the western region looks pretty good -- although I'd guess there's a lot of variability among the 13 states Biobot Analytics includes there.
