Yes, a VERY important and relevant question to be asking all of our political reps and senators. The House & Senate are full of corruption & the ones who've been lingering & clinging onto power and the never-ending gravy train in Congress the longest are some of the most audacious & corrupt of all. Years ago, I assumed they were all there to serve the public so I voted faithfully, every election, for almost 40 years. But as I gradually learned how they actually use their position to enrich & empower themselves, and that THE SYSTEM ALLOWS & EVEN ENABLES CORRUPTION, I lost hope. And it's not about party affiliation: Dems, Repubs, Independents, etc. That's all for show, to give "we the people" the illusion that we regular folks have any real "choices" at all. The never-ending tax-payer funded money that's pumped into the CORRUPT AS HELL Big Pharma & Big Weapons of War will never end. Like a rotten bridge, the whole CABAL needs to come down. It's time for We the People to govern ourselves. "Government" corruption has reached peak evil now.

You've linked to the Press Democrat, which, from the beginning of the debacle, has been suppressing or throwing shade on any information encouraging citizens to dispassionately evaluate emerging data and research. they've been moderately effective at inserting barriers against uptake of verifiable information within their readership, but they're not as effective at disinformation as they'd like to believe themselves.
There are far more ordinary working-class folks around here who are grounded in reality than one might think. They don't necessarily follow the research, but they do not lack short-term memory and have no strong emotions ruling their appraisal of what's been happening. This allows them a curiously durable form of objectivity. Their common sense tells them that the messaging has been self-contradictory and their daily observations of those around them that have readily survived the virus with minimal consequences highlight those observed contradictions.
They have no very firm opinion one way or another, but they do not appreciate being lied to. that distaste for duplicity has inoculated them against induced credulity in a way that no data ever could.

One posible way around this is to start campaigns with candidates who will commit to go to the very bottom of this farce. Or to offer to those candidates not looking that good in polls, to get them the votes of the "COVID resistance" if they provide their support to our cause. And all democrats and republicans to support these candidates...hopefully a few of them will make their way through. And of those, a few will keep their word.

Millions of shots are now in the garbage. More will end up in the garbage.
