I'm wondering what anybody knows about capsaicin, found in chilis (cayenne for eg), for heart health.

Cane sugar intake is closely associated with poor cholesterol levels and heart disease. A very conservative estimate of Americans' daily average cane sugar intake is around 17 teaspoons, or about 60 to 70 pounds per year (likely much more). Completely eliminating cane sugar from one's diet can greatly improve health all around. It has no food value and no health benefits, so eliminating it doesn't cause any health problems.

If statins were so great, we'd have no heart disease, as U.S. doctors have poured statins down everyone's throat for decades now. I was on a statin for "high" cholesterol. I'll NEVER EVER take one again! It cause horrible side effects for me. Take a look at Thousands of real life patients reviews.

I'm going to agree to disagree. Statins are pure poison in my book. Diet and exercise I like.

This really is brain dead twaddle! You clearly know nothing about the topic and are just regurgitating talking points from pro carnivore websites/influencers/blogs. To be clear, human intestines at roughly 30ft are very close to other purely herbivorous animals and much longer than carnivores which are generally 8 to 10ft. PH levels are markedly different too

>>Carnivores maintain highly acidic stomach pH levels (around 1โ€“2) to digest flesh and kill bacteria. In contrast, herbivores and humans have less acidic stomachs, generally between pH 4โ€“5 when eating. While human resting stomach acid is acidic, it is less acidic than specialized carnivores. <<

The well balanced human microbiome has roughly 30 trillion bacteria roughly the same as all cells in the human body. Soluble fiber, is essential to feed the gut bacteria, which produce many beneficial compounds. Insoluble, fibre is essential for removing toxins from the human body. You're saying that because the vast majority of the population of the US is very unhealthy. It's because they eat plant foods.... that is a ridiculous application of the principle of "correlation equals causation" which whilst, in some cases, can be true, in this case, the vastly more likely cause is the fact that the modern US diet & food is processed white c*** with very little fibre 18g to 20g when the optimum is 100g plus and also contains many harmful additives and other crap. I'll, say it again, you clearly know f*** all about this topic. BTW - i'm seventy two.I've been vegan whole food cloth based fifty years and I'm on no medications at all and have no ailments.

Outside of prevention, chelation therapy shows a lot of promise for heart disease. I did a bit of research on this for my Father, but didn't try it. Doctors went snakey on me when I mentioned it. For anyone interested in trying, I would caution against 'fast drip infusion' and if there are no improvements after 3-4 treatments, then it is probably not the right approach. I recall treatment plans being 10-24 infussions over several months.

Here's one doctor talking about it: https://www.bitchute.com/video/A3kzEidRFoSW

My husband has dementia. They have him on statins. Says he has to be on it. Vascular dementia, Alzheimerโ€™s, and front brain shrinkage. Jumped his ass for not taking them. We were told that we would be dropped if we didnโ€™t follow orders.

Iโ€™m scared theyโ€™ll test for compliance. So for now.. heโ€™s taking them.

Your first sentence clearly shows you have no idea what you are talking about since heart disease is multifactorial (that means it's caused by many different things working together, with LDL being one of them). That's like saying if we remove one team from the NFL we'd have no more football.

This is a study showing that 9 different gene mutations that lower LDL in different ways all result in the same exact decreased risk of heart disease. It is arguably one of the most definitive piece of evidence that LDL causes heart disease.

The brain has a large amount of cholesterol. The blood/brain barrier requires that the brain has gial cells to make the cholesterol needed in the brain. Statins interfere with the production of the needed cholesterol in the brain.

The current licensed doctors do not know this well established fact means Alzheimer patients should never use statins.

Big Pharma hides the evidence/prosecutes doctors that expose this as it would reduce profits.

The Scam Doctor's avatar

Uhh yeah we know basic cholesterol physiology and the pharmacology of statins... Not only do the most commonly used statins have poor ability to cross the blood brain barrier, but human outcomes also show that statins are *at worst* neutral to the risk of developing dementia and at best protective against it (especially against vascular dementia).

Alzheimer's patients likely wouldn't benefit from starting a new statin because the Alzheimer's would limit their lifespan and the true benefit of statins accumulates over time.

See.. clearly not hidden information from Big Pharma. Any more questions about cholesterol you may have might be answered by this:

Mr Kirsch, are you familiar with the late Sydney Bush? Australian and maybe Canadian optometrist who was nominated for a Nobel. I found two video interviews of him explaining that heart disease was reversible. Googleable. When optometry equipment was improved he could see into retina blood vessels and note the blockage created thru the body easily, take photos and measure improvement over time. Free virtually. Look him up! Thanks for your wonderful work, especially on COVID.

Steve, you may have known Darrell Tanelian MD/PhD Stanford. He left to go to SouthWest Medical Center outside Dallas and saw first hand the fraud committed hiding negative test data on the statin to get it to market. He quit medicine when trying to become Prez of Mass Gen and the selection committee Prez told Darrell after he lost out that the goal of the hospital is to keep the beds full.
