"I’m in London, and would gladly forward some papers/reports next week. We do not have studies done by Cornell, but we do have the data of infection rate of vaccinated and boosted. My understanding is that you are skeptical not just of Omicron and boosters, but of vaccination against COVID full stop. I would suggest that you simply go to the New York Times or CDC websites to see the relative risk of hospitalization and death of vaccinated versus unvaccinated (aggregate data for all variants). If you are sincerely interested in the scientific basis for virtually every IvyPlus requiring vaccinations and boosters, and if it would influence your decision about remaining at Cornell, I will put significant effort into assembling the data. If, however, you would not get vaccinated or boosted despite scientific evidence, let’s not waste our time."
This is the perfect "trust the "experts" (aka government bureaucrats, because they're never wrong!) or please "just go away boy, you're botherin' me!" response. Any expectation that we actually examine the "evidence" for ourselves and debate evidence that doesn't come directly from said approved and compromised experts that prior to the pandemic we complained were captured by Big Pharma would be a total waste of your time and ours. You should know by now us Ivy Leaguers are way above actual rigorous independent analysis and truth finding.
