The reasons include: (1) a lifetime of being indoctrinated to trust doctors (which Covid should have ended, but apparently didn't) and (2) coercion - in many states, a child can't do anything (school, camps, sports, etc.) without being "up to date" with the CDC vaccine schedule. Socializing is an important part of growing up.
I have heard that some Democrat-run states are working to eliminate any remaining vaccine exemptions (Connecticut may be one), so there will be almost no way out other than relocating.
