The City of San Jose requires its employees to be fully vaccinated. This event is at the San Jose Civic Center. Steve, why are you doing business with them?

https://www.sanjoseca.gov/your-government/departments-offices/human-resources/browse-city-jobs

<< Per the City’s COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy, the City requires all new hires to provide proof of vaccination as a condition of employment absent an approved medical or religious exemption. Fully vaccinated means a person has received the following:

Two doses of the monovalent Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine; or

Two doses of the monovalent Moderna COVID-19 vaccine; or

Two doses of the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine; or

One dose of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine; or

One dose of the bivalent Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine; or

One dose of the bivalent Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. >>

Clarification: the event is not being held, as Steve stated at the top of his post at the “San Jose Civic Center” which is a light rail stop and collection of government-owned buildings, but at the “San Jose Civic” theater which is not operated by the City of San Jose, but by “Team San Jose” which is a private organization.

I apologize for the confusion. Not sure to what extent this company is bound by the City of San Jose’s vaccination requirement for contractors. Will find out.

Team San Jose job postings do not list a vaccination requirement:

Looks like this policy applies to hires, and says nothing about attendees at events on city property. Hah hah-- looks like they didn't get the memo from the latest update on the CDC website that the COVID injections don't stop COVID illness or transmission of disease. Wondering how long it'll take, how many multiple cases of COVID, vax injuries and sudden deaths before they finally "get" it?

The most likely thing that will change their policy is a lawsuit from a potential hire, or the threat of one.

Umm, so why'd you take that potshot at Steve? He's working overtime to stop this bullshit, scaring up all these lawyers. It just makes YOU look stupid.

I can't speak for Alex but I do wonder why this event is being held at a venue that requires employees to be jabbed.

I deem it a reasonable question.

Why focus on just one event venue? There are loads of businesses retaining the same bullshit expired policy. And more especially, why are you TROLLS focusing your sights on Steve? He's working OVERTIME to get lawyers to sue the crap outta the people setting the policy. And who are the likes of Alex and you working for, hmmm?? "Me thinks the lady doth protest overly."

I protest vaccination requirements in general and government-imposed ones in particular. No one has paid me to do this. I am currently focusing on the City of San Jose and the County of Santa Clara, after victories against such requirements on city property at my home town of Mountain View, the local community college, and Steve’s own Palo Alto. You should be working FOR freedom and lay off the bullshit targeting of Steve for protocols that HE is trying to bust. For God's sake. TROLL.
