Also: it seems like the really militant follow the science!!1!1!!1! people don't know what to say when you note that other countries do things differently.

Some doctors are all "that data isn't relevant to the US" and I find that very silly. Yes many factors are going to be different but high-quality international studies are worth considering.
I've run into this personally because ACOG has chosen to ignore dozens of excellent studies and programs with documented improved outcomes for stillbirth reduction because they're "not relevant."' Truly infuriating.
