Hello Steve: It's called dental resorption. It is when a tooth starts to destroy itself by re-absorbing the dentin or part of the root, occurring in an otherwise perfectly healthy tooth. Sometimes it can be resolved by a root canal and cap, in many others requires complete removal of the tooth. From what I understand, it can start spontaneously or result from a tumor to the tissues under the tooth. It is not related to tooth decay or gum disease, nor to aging. Thank you for your interest. If you need more info, I will complete the form, just let me know.
Might want to try HealThy Mouth essential oil blend. Can't hurt, cheap to try, may save your teeth. Also look at the book/program called Cure Tooth Decay. They have a fb group you could ask how many others are there post shot. And detox, detox, detox. Your dentist doesn't have to be right. We know a lot more about the bodys ability to heal itself now
what was the name of the condition please?
