I wrote a bad review on a hospital and they asked me to call them so I did. After a litany of lies and arrogance, I had to laugh out loud when she said "We're a hospital, we wouldn't lie!"

Doctors don't have automatic trust anymore - they have to earn it. And doctors like Patmas are the reason we don't trust them anymore.

I once saw a dead squirrel in the road, flattened by traffic, internal organs splattered on the asphalt, flies covering it--the whole shebang. Then again, it could have been just resting. And maybe it was really a fox, or an elephant.

Who am I to presume to know? I'm not a veterinarian.
