Clearly my friends weren’t “true friends” but that realization still hurts
I think it is good to acknowledge the pain. Maybe the pain is indicative that we still have love and empathy to give to others, which is a welcome difference from the world we find ourselves in, a world managed by insatiable god-complexes.
We must keep loving.
