I was only asked by anyone at the hospital if I wanted it twice: when I was discharged after having my baby and then at my 6 week follow up. I said no both times and that was that.
I remember when the jabs were initially released last year, a friend who was one of the first I'd told I was pregnant - and who does not follow politics with the same masochistic attention I do - immediately texted me to NOT get the jab AS PER THE MANUFACTURERS. If I recall correctly, Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson discouraged pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and women trying to conceive from getting the jab because the side effects were unknown. Then suddenly that went out the window at some point and it was totally fine for women in any of those categories to get it. I heard so many anecdotal stories of near immediate miscarriages (and I know someone who may have miscarried after the jabs but she didn't connect the dots) and now of blood clots in newborns that are being breastfed by mothers who have had the jabs. I know correlation does not equal causation, and I know those anecdotal stories are just that: anecdotal. But if you think I'm going to risk the health of my baby just so some neurotic Branch Covidian is pleased, they can shove that vial where the sun don't shine.
At some point, an overabundance of correlation does equal causation, or should bring the process to a immediate halt until general causation can be determined. But that's not ever going to happen, it seems they want to up the boosters, come hell or high water
