Can assure people as well that even toe-walking, chronic bed wetting, academically slowed, noise intolerant autism spectrum candidates in the UK are not being diagnosed in the UK in the age 7-12 window unless they have very assertive parents or skip the waitlists somehow in the national health service because getting a diagnosis can bring financial incentives (also a huge influx of adults wanting diagnoses now and adhd meds and on multi-year waitlists) so having a child with difficulties is now seen as something people should live with and try not to complain about if it’s ‘not too bad’… (never mind if the child has dyspraxia, can barely focus to walk home or watch television or learn homework topics) - not to mention that issues of autism spectrum disorder have now become the norm among Gen Alpha and extremely common in GenZ who lead the social pressure to normalise it.
