When I go to my appointments at the VA, the psychological trauma is never discussed. No questions are ever asked like: Did you suffer psychological problems during the pandemic? Did you increase your alcohol or drug usage? Did you encounter more spousal/partner abuse?
Nada. Nothing is discussed. Just like the trauma of the last 3 years never happened.
However, be careful what you wish for. With my lack of trust for the medical system and nosey government bureaucrats and the government licking its chops at social credit scores and CBDCs to have complete control, I don't want any of those questions asked of me with a required answer.

I understand your point.
But...the VA states they care about suicides...but it is all talk.
Lots of vets are hurting, oftentimes silently.
