It is often said that too few people who work in the nursing homes speak out, and I would agree, but I really stress that the censorship and shadow-banning have been incredibly powerful. I have been looking for videos of "counter-narrative" testimony every day since 2021, but I only came upon this 2021 testimony a few days ago, thanks to a comment on this substack. As a matter of fact I have everything to lose, nothing to gain. And I'm going to speak from the angle, I'm not here to preach, I'm here to speak from the angle of a, of a medical expert, from a from a CNA perspective, from a person who works in the medical field, OK? And, and what I'm going to talk about, I'm going to be honest with you, it is it is not being spoken about enough. It, it, there are some that are beginning to speak about it, but we need to speak about this. This is a serious issue. And that's why taking the time to do this video right now.

So for some of you who don't know who I am, my name is James Desvallons. I am, yeah, I am a certified nursing assistant. We know it as CNA. Part of my job is to care for residents, literally to provide care for them, to feed and to clean them and to wash them. You know, just the work of a CNA. We, we we give care. And the essential purpose is of my work and everyone who is along with me as far as
LDN, RNs and administrators, and therapy, and so on, our essential work is to save the life of those whom have been entrusted by family members to care for them.
So I want to repeat that, that statement again. The purpose of our job as as nurses, CNAs, is to save the life of those residents that family members have entrusted in our care to to to to take care of them because they are not able to take care for them, so they entrusted us with, with, with entrusted us with their [inaudible] and their loved ones so we could provide care for them in a way that will, that they can, they can be at peace as they're getting older before they passed away.
So that is the work that we do. And that's why we should never forget the work that we do as, either if you are CNA or RN or LDN or administrator, a therapy, whatever position you might have in the health field, the essential purpose of your work is to save lives, is to make sure, those that under your care, you are there to protect them.
Now with that being said, as some of you already know, we are in this covid 19 pandemic and things are just literally blowing up. Now I really want you guys to pay attention to this because what I'm going to talk about right here, I'm letting you know, there's a high possibility I might lose my job. My reputation could be totally destroyed.
And I must tell you, as a Christian I am so disturbed and my heart is heavy. And my conscious [conscience] is not at ease. And if I do speak I find that I am becoming part of the problem, not of the solution. And I want to say it again, the greatest problem we have in the world is not just that
they are evil in our world, issues in our world, I think one of the greatest problems we have is that that too many of us are quiet on the issues that should be spoken about, that should be brought in the front line.

Yes, there is a time to be quiet, but there's also a time to speak up. And I think as for me I am under a heavy conviction. I'm telling you, friends, I've been up 'til like 4 o'clock in the morning and I've been praying, and and and thinking and praying and reading my Bible and the Spirit of the Lord is, is, is pressing upon my heart and I'm realizing, I can't just keep quiet, I've got to speak up. And if I don't speak up, I'm going to blow up.

Some people are just afraid. Some people just don't know how to confront this issue. And I'm going to be very honest with you, we got to say something. We got to speak up. We can't just keep quiet. I am a certified nursing assistant. I also serve as a lay assistant lay pastor. That is my volunteer work. But as my, my job, as far as I can take care of my residents and be paid doing it, I am a certified nursing assistant. That is what I do and the function of my work is to save the lives of those that are under my care, doing the best things I can do by applying the skills that I have learned in school.
So I'm hoping you understand where I'm coming from with this.
And we know, friends, as of 2020, 2020, we've had this covid 19 virus that is plaguing the world. We know that. But to a large degree, what most people don't realize, although they speak about it in the nursing home, but they are not, they are not blowing the trumpet as they should. Many in the, many in the the nursing homes, many, many of our residents, have not only suffered from this virus in 2020, that's just, that's just from the virus itself, not only they've suffered, many of them have lost their lives. We all know that, OK? We heard some of this on the news, we are familiar with this notion.
Now this is where I'm trying to get your attention. Now listen to me very carefully friends. Listen to me very carefully.

This covid 19 virus is something new. The experts will try to do everything they can to deal with it. Now the thing is, they have come up with with with with several vaccines, right? Several vaccines
that they want to administer primarily, listen to me very carefully, to those who are in a nursing home. The elderlies. The people such as myself, LPN and RN, people like myself, these are the first groups of people that they are targeting with the vaccines, which I totally understand because we are in the front line. And part of our job is is to deal with the vulnerable, those that are more prone to catching the virus. I totally get that.
But this is the thing that is going on right now that it troubles me that I'm not hearing enough people talking about this, it troubles me, it seems to me, am I the only one who's crazy? Or, what is going on? Because why? Because I'm not hearing people talking about this.
I LIVED FOR 12 YEARS IN A SMALL TOWN IN RURAL MISSOURI. I WAS THE PASTOR OF THE LARGEST CONGREGATION IN THAT COMMUNITY, AND HAD OCCASION TO GO MANY TIMES TO THE LOCAL NURSING HOME----A WELL-RUN ESTABLISHMENT IN "NORMAL" TIMES. Like described above, my dad lived in assisted living. He was 92, able bodied, had no illnesses for which prescriptions were required and no other illnesses. He was forgetful but did often retain and was conversant in regard to new information.
He moved into assisted living May 1st 2021. He had the two shots one month apart then about mid November 2021 he got the booster shot and about 4-6 weeks later he pretty much went crazy.
The assisted living facility had to have the police restrain him to get him to the hospital. After about one month of mostly sliding down hill he passed away.
Sorry to day, it was the clot shot that took the few remaining years of his life.
If this is true it should be true in all nursing homes. If it's not true in all nursing homes then there is a confounder lurking. Please check other nursing homes. This could be the proof needed.

Beginning in early 2021 a volunteer in Health Freedom Ireland began analyzing nursing home deaths in the Republic with a particular focus on a sample of 60 nursing homes. This data was compiled from the Irish website rip.ie.* From this data graphs were produced of deaths per month throughout the year.
Despite the promise of two weeks to flatten the curve, on the 27th of March when the Republic of Ireland went into its first lockdown, April 2020 saw large numbers of deaths occur in nursing homes regardless of the restrictions. Please recall that the HSE** callously moved large numbers of sick patients from hospitals into nursing homes, without even testing them beforehand, to free up hospital capacity.
Despite a second lockdown being announced on the 19th of October because of NPHET's*** claim that more cases would lead to more deaths, October, November 2020 saw fewer deaths on average than the rest of the year in the nursing home study.

Despite going into a third lockdown in January 2021, and the heralding of the vaccine rollout for the most vulnerable, there was a shocking 426% increase in deaths in the nursing home sample reviewed.
Shown in the slide on the following is the letter* that Health Freedom Ireland sent to the Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly, the head of the HSE Paul Reid, the CEO of HIQA** and the chief executive officer of the HPRA.***
On Tuesday the 9th of March 2021 were our grave concerns over these findings were brought to their attention. The pleas from Health Freedom Ireland to halt this roll out pending a thorough investigation were all ignored.
Health Freedom Ireland issued press releases to 13 mainstream media outlets, including the RTÉ News Desk, the Irish Times, the Irish Independent, and the Irish Examiner, which were never pursued.
As a result of no response being received, the same letter was then sent to members of both houses of the Irish parliament, the Dàil and the Seanod, on the 11th of March.

For a selection of nursing homes we obtained death records from the General Registrar's office. Here we see that for Beech Park Nursing Home in County Kildare, for the six records we obtained, 5 had severe covid as a cause of death.
How could this have happened given that nursing homes were all locked down at this time, staff were rigorously tested, and no external visitors were permitted?

Since January 2021 the Irish government proceeded to roll out the vaccine to the remainder of the Irish adult population and introduced vaccine passports this summer as a means of increasing uptake, despite being aware of these adverse signals earlier this year.
In this slide we have graphed all of the nursing home deaths in the Irish Republic since the onset of the pandemic. We can actually see already that nursing home deaths are now higher in the past few months than they were last year, despite the roll out of a national vaccine campaign and booster shots.

Following from slide six we have compiled the nursing home deaths in Ireland in the past two years. Months in 2021 where the death rate is higher than in 2020 are highlighted in red.
In summary, the Irish people have endured the longest lockdowns in Europe, have been subject to stringent health protocols, vaccine passports, and the country has had a high vaccine uptake, all of which were intended to protect the most vulnerable in our society. These measures have all failed to achieve what was promised. Nursing home residents continue to be subject to severe restrictions, leaving them feeling isolated, frustrated, and fearful. With the recent introduction of vaccine passports as a requirement of entry for visitors, many elderly residents are being denied access to their loved ones.
Ireland remains a two-tier society with the unvaccinated being marginalized and discriminated against for exercising their right to bodily autonomy.

I believe besides the vaccines killing them, there was a lack of care when employees avoided the patients like the plague.

If this is true it should be true in all nursing homes. If it's not true in all nursing homes then there is a confounder lurking. Please check other nursing homes. This could be the proof needed.

MALE VOICE: What happened in Irish nursing homes? The following video summarizes Health Freedom Ireland's investigation into nursing home deaths in the Republic of Ireland since the onset of the covid 19 pandemic.

Beginning in early 2021 a volunteer in Health Freedom Ireland began analyzing nursing home deaths in the Republic with a particular focus on a sample of 60 nursing homes. This data was compiled from the Irish website rip.ie.* From this data graphs were produced of deaths per month throughout the year.
Despite the promise of two weeks to flatten the curve, on the 27th of March when the Republic of Ireland went into its first lockdown, April 2020 saw large numbers of deaths occur in nursing homes regardless of the restrictions. Please recall that the HSE** callously moved large numbers of sick patients from hospitals into nursing homes, without even testing them beforehand, to free up hospital capacity.
Despite a second lockdown being announced on the 19th of October because of NPHET's*** claim that more cases would lead to more deaths, October, November 2020 saw fewer deaths on average than the rest of the year in the nursing home study.

Despite going into a third lockdown in January 2021, and the heralding of the vaccine rollout for the most vulnerable, there was a shocking 426% increase in deaths in the nursing home sample reviewed.

Shown in the slide on the following is the letter* that Health Freedom Ireland sent to the Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly, the head of the HSE Paul Reid, the CEO of HIQA** and the chief executive officer of the HPRA.***
On Tuesday the 9th of March 2021 were our grave concerns over these findings were brought to their attention. The pleas from Health Freedom Ireland to halt this roll out pending a thorough investigation were all ignored.
Health Freedom Ireland issued press releases to 13 mainstream media outlets, including the RTÉ News Desk, the Irish Times, the Irish Independent, and the Irish Examiner, which were never pursued.
As a result of no response being received, the same letter was then sent to members of both houses of the Irish parliament, the Dàil and the Seanod, on the 11th of March.

For a selection of nursing homes we obtained death records from the General Registrar's office. Here we see that for Beech Park Nursing Home in County Kildare, for the six records we obtained, 5 had severe covid as a cause of death.
How could this have happened given that nursing homes were all locked down at this time, staff were rigorously tested, and no external visitors were permitted?

Since January 2021 the Irish government proceeded to roll out the vaccine to the remainder of the Irish adult population and introduced vaccine passports this summer as a means of increasing uptake, despite being aware of these adverse signals earlier this year.
In this slide we have graphed all of the nursing home deaths in the Irish Republic since the onset of the pandemic. We can actually see already that nursing home deaths are now higher in the past few months than they were last year, despite the roll out of a national vaccine campaign and booster shots.

Following from slide six we have compiled the nursing home deaths in Ireland in the past two years. Months in 2021 where the death rate is higher than in 2020 are highlighted in red.
In summary, the Irish people have endured the longest lockdowns in Europe, have been subject to stringent health protocols, vaccine passports, and the country has had a high vaccine uptake, all of which were intended to protect the most vulnerable in our society. These measures have all failed to achieve what was promised. Nursing home residents continue to be subject to severe restrictions, leaving them feeling isolated, frustrated, and fearful. With the recent introduction of vaccine passports as a requirement of entry for visitors, many elderly residents are being denied access to their loved ones.
Ireland remains a two-tier society with the unvaccinated being marginalized and discriminated against for exercising their right to bodily autonomy.
