If elimination of the suspected cause eliminates the problem, you HAVE identified the cause. John Snow, (who is still considered the father of modern epidemiology) discovered this when he got busy finding out what the source/s of the cholera outbreaks were. All he did was find out who was getting sick and find out which cisterns they were drinking from.
He got the suspected cisterns cleaned up (eliminated the suspected cause) and people got better.
When we eliminate vaccines as a possible cause, (study the unvaccinated) we see the problems ameliorated DRAMATICALLY. It's such an obvious and simple cause and effect equation that it gets ignored by academia.
Of course, when Oxford and the like receive billions from the pharmaceutical industry, its easy to see why they would continue rejecting such clear evidence (that their benefactors are culpable).
I think Berenson's Substack is the first paid one I subscribed to during the plandemic. As soon as he refused to acknowledge the effectiveness of IVM, I was done and unsubscribed. That was long ago. He was one of the first contrarians and I bought his Kindle books. Pierre Kory tried the same thing you are Steve, and was unsuccessful at getting him to change his mind. I don't know what his problem is, but it's his problem and I left him behind.

I stopped reading anything he said after he went after Robert Malone, he will not listen to any opinion that is different to his own. I’m not surprised at any of this.
Checked the 34%-of-households figure against nationally representative data: NSCH 2016 (43,000+ children) puts ever-diagnosed autism at 2.79%, about 1 in 36 kids. Even if every affected child sat in a separate household, that's ~1.5% of US households, not a third of them. I found no representative survey that comes anywhere near 34%. The weaker number is a liability the argument doesn't need: 1 in 36 is millions of families, and the cause question is genuinely open. openneedle.ai surfaces the NSCH figure on the first try; it also flags that ~64% of the 2000s rise in classification tracked reclassification from intellectual disability.
Regarding his opinion, Alex Berenson has been extended far more consideration than his level of expertise or scientific based perspective deserves. After trying to give Alex a chance to convince me based on sound logic, I have concluded that he doesn't think much for himself. I am puzzled by the level of attention and credibility that he still seems to receive.
I hate to say it given how much I detest Berenson, but he's absolutely correct. Your survey is utterly worthless as actual data for demonstrating correlation between vaccination and autism. He's also correct that vaccines don't cause autism. It's one of the rare things he's correct about.

I don't understand what people see in Berenson. I've been a subscriber (unpaid) since the pandemic, and struggle to find a single original thought in all that time. As a university instructor, it reminds me of freshman work -- much bloviating, little substance.
I'm not trying to be mean, I think he was a useful voice against pandemic-era tyranny. But contrast to Steve's substack, who asks new questions and pushes the envelope in each & every post.

That shot clearly damaged so many--one only has to watch that terrible documentary of the poor young women in Denmark who had their lives RUINED then were ABANDONED by all but ONE doctor with a heart for TRUTH and REPAIRING THE DAMAGE!
