Crock of shit, there is no testing in Japan, source? Live here 20+ years. No one is using Ivermectin.

Thank you Fauxi boy.

I live in Japan. I use it. I know of others, Japanese and foreigners who have acquired it.

That said, it is probably overstating things to attribute Japan's situation to availability of Ivermectin. I think people have been avoiding testing as they don't want to have to quarantine (or face shunning or opprobrium) if they test positive.

Here's some compelling info. Since you live there, your thoughts?

HI, Rebecca.

Not sure I have that much to add. The article linked to says:

"The following is my theory, which I also believe to be truth, proven beyond a reasonable doubt to myself. COVID case rates in Japan fell to both increased use of Ivermectin and decreased use of Vaccines. Vaccines are the main driver of COVID rates, albeit with some time lag in data."

Hmm. Even though the rate of new vaccination has fallen, a large percentage of the population are vaxxed, including a large number of children. There is relatively little testing, and it is not being pushed as far as I can tell, although vaccines still are. If there is minimal testing that alone will keep case numbers low - if a positive test is defined as a "case".

Covid deaths are very low here, that is it least partly due to a generally much healthier population and Japan sticking to a realistic definition of Covid death that requires it to be the or a major contributor to the death, not simply be present. Not sure about their hospital protocols, but I doubt if they are as horrific as what many hospitals are employing in the US/Canada/UK where they seem to be incentivized to kill people.

It's really hard to gauge the extent to which Ivermectin has had an impact, but at least until now the government has not been actively interfering with people obtaining it or engaging in blatant lying and fear mongering about it like the FDA, CDC and MSM.

Hopefully, Japan will reach herd immunity (if it hasn't already) fairly painlessly but due to the relative lateness of implementing vaccinations it may yet be headed into a 'dark winter' of post-vax complications.

Hope that helps.

It's good perspective you're sharing, and thank you for writing it. Are the boosters highly utilized in Japan? With very limited testing plus accurate 'death' labeling, it seems to also be part of the picture.
