Paul Romero, the owner of Makena CrossFit in Maui, is a man of courage: he walks the "do not comply" talk in his gym. But he's gone beyond that: he convinced Safeway to make masks optional on Maui.
I’m inspired, as always. Thinking about how I can approach local businesses with some documentation to turn masking requirements around… I’m in Canada and our situation is getting pretty desperate. But we are not intimidated and we aren’t giving up. Seems to me with tenacity and kindness anything is possible. Im realizing how important it is to have the courage to walk into stores without a mask on. We need to be examples for others who are not brave enough. But I tell you, I was shocked by the look in a young man’s eyes when I walked in the pet store he was working at and told him I am mask exempt. Normally, since Im a woman, men look at me differently, but not this young man. I could see anger and gosh, maybe even rage. The vibe was powerful, dark and surprising coming from such a young guy… I think he thought I was lying and he was just so pissed. He didn’t say a thing except ask me to stand at the front of the store while another employee grabbed my items. When it came time to pay, he could not stand to look at me, he made his disdain for me very obvious. I’m going to make it a point to go back there with love, respect and kindness in my heart. I hope my smile will break through a little bit. I have to try.
Wow. So sad that many of the young have been suckered into believing they are at risk. My kids are 17 and fortunately they have many friends who are with them and who don't fear the virus.

Alex has been a great champion of the truth regarding the vaccines but I think he is incorrect re: ivermectin. He cites one study while there are numerous studies that show how well it works. Mr Kirsch, my aunt was forcibly ventilated two weeks ago, and was just taken off two days ago.
She's unjabbed, and is recovering from the ventilator experience. Her story is more complicated as the hospital did everything it could to get her on the vent.
I am happy to discuss the situation, and once she is able she can elaborate.
At my club in CA, we've had a run of illness, all testing positive on their PCR tests. Severity of illness varied. Most had boosters. Interesting to note that the few that have resisted the shots have not been sick. Yet the are required to wear masks in the clubhouse. We need Patriot attorneys to sue Newsom and the State of California for discrimination.
I left Maui in May 2021 after living there for 32 yrs. My Crossfit box on Maui also did not comply as I beleive most boxes across the US resisted the BS coming out of our politician's mouths.

Hi Steve, i commented once about the situation in Lithuania. We have hundreds if not thousands of death testimonials on facebook and telegram, while officially we have no single deaths from vaccine, and even the cases where a person died at vaccination point within 15 minutes were discounted officially as non-vaccine related. I was on Maui first half of December three months ago and stayed at West End about five miles north of Kaanapali. I'd say mask use was unfortunately heavily enforced in stores but outside I rode my bike practically every day and never wore a mask other than to go in to a deli to order some food. No one asked me to put a mask on outdoors, including on a whale watching trip. I felt it was just about the same enforcement as here in most of California. I am very sorry to hear about the kids in the schools and, of course, Gruesome Newsome and his ghouls are doing the same to our children here. May they burn in Hell for that! All kudos to Mr. Romero and his team!
