Every single major Psychiatric drug worsens long term outcomes. Stimulant's, "antidepressants" benzos, "antipsychotics" all have worse outcomes in the long term research. The short term corporate studies use a list of design flaws* to make the drugs look effective when they actually are anything but.

The book An anatomy of an epidemic by Robert Whitaker --free online link below(1)-- details the research showing worse long term outcomes.

Mortality studies show psych drugs are killing around 500,000 people a year among a long list of negative effects.

Some more details on that research can be found at https://www.reddit.com/user/Teawithfood/

* Those flaws include unblinding, having the "placebo" group be in actuality a group in withdrawal, publication bias, cherry picking, miscoding of negative events and so on.
