Funny, I'm American too. I get the best and the worst of both countries as a dual. Steve can handle the insult; he's dished them out on the regular to a certain significant individual here in Canada who has been persistent in her efforts to get us out of this downward spiral of doom - so admittedly, I have a bone to pick.

My 'firsthand' account from Canada is this: our government are WEF globalists. Get Trudeau out, we have Chrystia Freeland. She sits on the board of the WEF:) If we manage to get enough MP's to form a coalition government (we need two more Libs to get off the bench to join the Bloc Quebecois, NDP ((of which Jagmeet Singh is another Young Global Leader Alumni)) - and Conservatives) and manage to get the Governor General to motion a non-confidence vote, we will either be looking at another election (the last one 5 months ago plunged us into a hatred-against-your-neighbour bitterness that was a nice bonus to the already divided country we've become in the last two years) or Trudeau will resign. But, the WEF aren't going to let him go so easily.
He's one of their best puppets and Canada's natural resources are a prized commodity. Trudeau sold Canada out a long time ago, but that's another story in a long line of hypocrisy, corruption and ethics violations since circa 2015.
The short of it:
The convoy has enough funds to stay planted in Ottawa for a long time. Many of the truckers plan to stay until Summer at minimum. Under the Canadian Bill of Rights, they can be parked on Wellington St to do what they're doing - protesting. Most of the threats are bluff. Not much the city can legally do. The military can't be called in unless the Governor General approves that motion. So, this could go on for a long time.
Unless some kind of false flag event is pulled - a fake something or other to scare the **shit out of people. What would happen then? Might be a good opportunity to usher in the One World Government. More chaos, confusion, more control. The protests so far have been remarkably peaceful and the organizers have done a remarkable job at rejecting infiltrators (Though Pat King is still getting time on NBC and spreading bad info so I don't know what they're doing with him.) This has brought people together across the country and raised people's spirits out of some dark depression and dark times. There are positives to be weighed. But there are concerns against for what this could be ushering in. The organizers themselves, though honest and of good intention, may be compromised without their knowing. They are not apolitical as they claim to be and there's some suspect funding. Elon Musk donated 42,000 dollars to the fund which is interesting. Good opportunity for Aurora and automated/AI vehicles to begin 'filling the gap' the truckers leave. Will probably be done under the guise of 'for a good cause'. One of the UN's Agenda 21-2030 goals is - The End of private farms, livestock, irrigation. So, I don't know what to tell you. Is this the last stand? Is Ottawa the frontline for the rest of the world as some claim? Are the liberals not just useful idiots to be culled once the globalists are finished with them when they have completed demolishment of the economy and our livelihoods (and our health) to usher in the NWO under the 'right'. I saw a post that said the UK dropped its measures due to pending lawsuits. Don't know how accurate that is, but what about here? I know there is some legal action pending, will it go anywhere and will it get any attention?
The truckers present an immediate problem for the 'authorities', but if they pack up and go home, what changes? When will this state of emergency that allows public health orders to act as law end?
There are cracks in the system, but it seems 'they' are under pressure from Pharma to keep this ball rolling, so they are now finding themselves caught in the middle.

instagram also has some great official convoy feeds to see the daily videos and images. so just as a side note: my family has been involved in this whole convoy for freedom and i want to share what we experienced bc it is being entirely misrepresented by the MSM. we were part of a huge convoy out of Muskoka Ontario that had a massive amount of food and supply donations organized that our community took up to meet the largest convoy (that coming from the west). we were told to set up at the pinewood truck stop in north bay ontario. the police put snowplows and police SUVs to block the exit ramps off the hwy and our community was never able to supply the convoy the way we intended due to government interference. as an agile group we simply went further east, down the transcanada hwy to cheer these amazing humans on and the supplies were sent to ottawa. in canada 60% of the drivers are punjabi. this number does not account for all the other races who drive and who are attending these convoys as support such as our indigenous people who spoke sunday and did a prayer service and have been doing drum circles for days in Ottawa. For Justin Trudeau and the sick demented media to portray us all and i quote "racist, misogynist, tin foil hat wearing, anti science, unacceptable fringe minority" is the most hateful and purposeful statement. he thinks because he labels us as such, that we are such. in fact, we are the very opposite. being in the presence of the convoy and the support convoy and all the people donating and making food has been such a beautiful experience. it has been absolutely full of love, unity and excitement. the unity is what the elites fear most, which is precisely why herr Trudeaus speech is meant to be as divisive as humanly possible without coming out and saying "off with their heads". anyone who believes this deranged human needs to pack their car and head to ottawa and see for themselves. it its the most soul filling experience. the love is in air. we the people finally have hope once again. we stand shoulder to shoulder with all humans across the globe against tyranny and the elites global dictatorship.
