Scragg betrays his allegiance in his research around NZ Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (Results from the first year of the New Zealand cot death study. E A Mitchell;R Scragg;A W Stewart;D M Becroft)

Several associated factors appear to emerge from his research, for example: "the relative risks associated with prone sleeping position (OR = 4.84). sharing bed (OR = 2.02), maternal smoking (OR = 1.79) and not breast feeding (OR = 1.89) were still statistically significant."

The elephant in the room as always, infant/neonatal VACCINATION STATUS and the absence of control.

Thanks Steve for correcting a bit of ignorance.

An aside, but voting by withdrawing our support:

This morning I turned on a local conservative radio station to hear a Pfizer commercial just starting to play.

Absolutely not! I turned the radio off. A Christmas CD will do better. I get enough news on the internet.

It’s hard enough listening to repeats of Relief Factor, bedsheets, phone services, and gold commercials, but Pfizer? Absolutely Not! I don’t watch TV. One reason is the plethora of invasive, banal Pharma ads. I won’t support it.

And can we ban the small print vocalized on radio at mach speed as to not be deciphered, at all? What purpose does it have? Transparency?

Theres a reason they call them "criminal courts" and it isn't necessarily because who is on trial.

What is wrong with these people. The numbers of deaths and injuries is out of control. And the research show these jabs are anything but safe.

As I a science teacher I use to have the greatest respect for scientists. And doctors. Now that idea has gone to hell

Yet Scragg walks free and is well paid to "kill" again.

As we are seeing, data can be used for good or for bad and it is the intention that counts. In this case the bad is trying to destroy the good. I'm sure that Scragg does not see himself as a serial killer but that is exactly what he is and he knew and knows exactly what he is doing and the consequences of his action.

Until the protected class, that Scragg falls into, is forced to pay for their actions nothing will change.

Interesting that JAMA just published a French study showing the jabs actually increased life expectancy by 25%. This bogus study will likely be used against him in his upcoming hearing next week. It’s a miracle shot!

I hope that you sent this Substack post directly to Scragg, the PM and health officer of NZ, as well as all MPs sitting in office there. It is appalling that this kind of junk argument is allowed to happen. No outside opinions allowed. Thank you Steve for doing the proper analysis. God help us all.

"Professor Robert Scragg is the Head of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the School of Population Health at the University of Auckland. He describes himself as a bit of a data nerd."

Yet he does not have any better tools than Excel to analyse data????????

I use R for data analysis. It has every tool to make the work easy, you can import data from many different data formats (and datasets as big as exist), it has every statistical technique you might use, it can present summary data in many different ways with beautiful graphs - and it is free to use. I would use it even for a small dataset because I am familiar with it. I would struggle with Excel because I am not familiar with using it for statistical work and it is limited. I doubt there is any data nerd who does not use R.
