I think the history of FDR programs is leftist revisionist history like much of the history we were taught in school. He's definitely not an anti-vaxxer. I don't think many on this board are calling him that. He wants the efficacy and safety of vaccines to be more rigorously tested. That's a great thing. His critique of the regulatory agencies is solid. But then his solution is to give more power to administrative agencies. Make it make sense.
Like I said, I trust him to run it effectively. FDR did. I just visited a small museum in Washington dedicated to FDR’s CCC program which put people back to work in our national parks and made America great. Bravo FDR, good programs can work and put people back to work.
What you see and are taught about is the CCC program. What is omitted in the history we are taught? What makes you sure all those interventions didn't prolong the great depression? FDR was one of the most corrupt presidents in our history. He created the administrative/deep state that has been subverting our republic since its inception. The state necessarily devolves into leftist corruption. We've seen it time and time again. It needs to be dismantled mercilessly. If you want a more accurate history of the great depression, I'd recommend Amity Shlaes The Forgotten Man.
