Be careful. I took 5,000 IU with K2 for a year and a half. A year ago my blood level was 70. Last month it was 100. This is borderline toxic. I had to back off it.
Good input. I have been taking between 7000 to 10000 icus since spring of 2020 (with k2). Had it tested middle of last year and it was 70. I better test again.
My doctor had me on 100,000 IU a week plus 6000 a day (pre-Covid). I ended up with multiple problems and had surgery. My doctor never believed it was the D but the surgeon was sure it was. Yes, be careful!
I don't think it's true. Who is JJ medicine? He says he is only a medical resident. That means he is totally blue pilled. Dr. Steve Gundry (author of Plant Paradox) says he has never seen vitamin D toxicity unless IV'ed. It's safe. Your doctor is also blue pilled. He is probably against natural healing by taking natural substance.
I was overdosed on D. I was quite sick. It took me a while to figure it out and lots of pain. The specialist I went to wasn’t really wanting to make another doctor look bad but I was severely overdosed. Two or three doctors were appalled that anyone would prescribe the amount I was taking long term. One of those was my chiropractor.
Aren’t Chiropractors more into natural health? Wow I’m sorry you went through all that. Hoping you are much better now. I am taking the 5,000 IU w/ K2 every other day now. But I was only taking it twice a week for about a month after the 100 ng blood level. I don’t really feel any different.
I don’t know if it’s a reliable link now that you point that out. But nobody needs more than 100 ng blood level whether it’s toxic or not. It’s certainly sufficient. I’m a senior citizen and I haven’t caught even a cold in the last 12 years since I stopped getting the flu shots.
My blood level was 100 ng.ml. The doctor said it was borderline toxic. I had no symptoms other than muscle aches which I did not know was from the high Vit D.
I just downed a couple of D3 after reading your comment 😁😁

That’s what happened to me. A year ago I was at 70 & then a month ago I was at 100.
What do you mean by blood level?
My doctor took blood tests twice a year to come up with the readings.
Sorry but this is not tire pressure. Blood has a lot of different indicators and measurements. Just saying blood level means nothing.

Yes, but with Vitamin D, what does "toxic" mean?
Stored in the liver & adipose tissue. Symptoms: hypercalcemia,=bones, stones ( kidney stones), moans ( psychiatric) groans ( muscle pains & gastrointestinal symptoms. Dehydration, High blood pressure, Weight loss, Cardiac arrhythmia, etc.
It can be serious. https://youtu.be/YQ9zm7wK2fE

It's a good point and I noticed they say Vitamin D3 2000-4000 *unless deficient and doses will need to be increased* .
Just because a vitamin is good doesn't mean more is always better - we have to do our research.
If your blood levels are 100 as op says hers were?
