I feel your pain. Based on your argument, the right thing to do would have been to call for her resignation the day after Bob Snow's heart attack, if not sooner.

I appreciate that Steve pinned Paul's message. I hope this means that Steve is looking for feedback from the community. As of this writing, Paul's message has the most likes of any in the comment section.
If she were a potential ally, why has she done nothing so far? I don't excuse people who are tasked with VITAL work, who ... eh, just didn't get around to it. Her pilot HUSBAND refused the shot. She has the JOB and did nothing -- didn't say anything, didn't stand up -- didn't quit! When he refused -- she should have IMMEDIATELY turned her attention to that. (One ASSUMES she respects her husband at least somewhat...)+
She SAID she knew about Pilot Snow -- and has done nothing. And, as Steve wrote -- he didn't even know we HAD such a position as "Federal Flight Surgeon! Neither did I. But nothing excuses her non-action. Nothing excuses the carelessness about pilots' lives -- and passengers' lives!
"Risk alienating her"!?!? I'd like to 'risk her' being jailed for malfeasance!
