The Tennessee law allowing Ivermectin to be over the counter still has weird restrictions, you can't just go get some like in India.

"The bill states that a pharmacist can provide Ivermectin to a patient, who is 18 years of age or older, “pursuant to a valid collaborative pharmacy practice agreement containing a non-patient-specific prescriptive order and standardized procedures developed and executed by one or more authorized prescribers.”

That means that adults can explain their symptoms to the pharmacist, fill out a sheet listing any preexisting conditions and other medications they are taking, and the pharmacist can determine the right dosage. "

Still, smart Tennessee towns will set up a tourist deal where someone can stay at a bed and breakfast, see the local sites and pick up a huge stock of Ivermectin at the "right pharmacy" to take back home. Be sure to yell "In your face, Fauci!" as you drive out of town.

FYI: Ivermectin is safe even in high doses. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31960060/

Hello everyone... I visited my local (TN) CVS today, and they have to hear from their corporate board first, to know how to go about it. It's not in their system yet that there are any changes. The gal in the pharmacy said she heard about it on TV and that was it. The main pharmacist said a few words to her and whatever they were, it was not... Oh yes! We are waiting for instructions! I will call their corporate, although I suspect I will go through similar to what I got below.

When I got home I called my local Walgreens. Same deal. So I did call their corporate HQ. After a few transfers to this person or that and being given other phone numbers to call, all of which I had found online anyway, another nice woman I was transferred to said she was amazed to hear how well Ivermectin worked to heal Covid (seriously?) but she was actually only at the call center. Apparently I am routed there each time. The number she then gave me (847-315-2500) is one I had already called and been told it was not "corporate." Fascinating. I will call again tomorrow. I will say that she was truly not informed about what this drug does, and so I gave her some of what I knew and she was genuinely thankful. Each one reach one, huh?

As I wrote before, if I keep not getting through to SOMEONE that can verify that they know about it and are planning the changes to take effect in a timely manner, I will call my senator(s.) I didn't expect the stuff to be on the shelves for the public the day after the signing, but the complete ignorance of it even being a thing now... at both CVS and Walgreen pharmacies, is very telling.
