Still, as I say, it seems to me that it can be well worthwhile to speak, and much can be done to give a given speech more visibility. (Also, transcripts are always good for those who don't do video.)

I did have to give my transcript to the school board to give a speech. Not sure how to expose the speech more. I have complained that there is no link to the school board hearings on the school site. I question how many parents get to see school speeches. Without running for school member I don't know what else I can do to get heard.
One possibility might be to post it on your Substack. Another possibility-- this just occurs to me-- could be to ask others who make speeches with you to allow you to post their speeches on your blog also. One of the good things about the 2 to 3 minute time limit is that the text length makes for very readable blog post-- long enough to say something substantive, yet short enough to keep a surfer's interest.
