I would be more precise with respect to your statement - the focus on freedom without responsibility, is what got us in this mess. I do not wish to live under a dictatorship in which everyone "behaves" but is living under tyranny. The problem is also largely propaganda. We have been exposed to a Propaganda Based Narrative which is highly sophisticated, since the 20 years leading up to WW1. Propaganda has always been the mainstay of those in power, but it has never been as devoid of values as in the past 120 years. And yes, Covid is a wake up call in many ways. Unfortunately, it is also a massive pop. cull.
