If you are age 12-17 in California, I'd like to give you $25K if you can explain to us why the shots are safe
All you have to do is show me how my article about the UK ONS data is wrong and vaccines are protective for those in your age group. You'll be an instant celebrity.
The California Legislature just voted unanimously (7-0) to move a bill (SB 866) out of committee that allows 12-17-year-olds to get vaccinated without parental consent.
Apparently Senators Wiener and Pan and Assembly Member Wicks (all co-authors) all think that parents are so busy they don’t have time to decide whether their kids should be vaccinated. That’s not mentioned in the bill.
The bill lacks any foundation whatsoever to rationalize the need for this change. Normally bills start out with a “whereas” which lists why the bill is even needed; this bill has no justification at all.
WTF?!?!
Where is the study showing that this bill is needed? Where is the data showing this bill will reduce the problem? There is NOTHING!!! I left a message for Richard Pan’s office and I never expect to hear back from them. I never do.
How many lives per year will this bill save? Where is the data proving that? In how many families would this result in the wrong decision for the child?
I wanted to highlight how absurd this bill is with a simple offer.
If you are 12 to 17 and live in California and you think you have the expertise to decide that the shot is safe, I’d like to give you an opportunity to show the public you fully understand the risks by simply explaining how my last article (which uses the UK ONS data showing the vaccines are more likely to kill you than save you) is wrong.
Similarly, if any of the California bill authors wants to do that, I’m open to that too.
Just indicate your acceptance in the comments and we’ll hop on a video and we’ll create a public record showing why all kids in California should be allowed to override their parents on this.
And to the authors of the bill, since you believe that the kids are wiser than their parents with respect to vaccination, why not add in a provision that any child 12-17 can REFUSE to be vaccinated even if their parents insist?
After all, kids are smarter than their parents, right?
I have one question for Senator Pan
The CDC isn’t capable of doing a proper risk-benefit analysis of the vaccine by age every month. They haven’t ever done one.
If the CDC can’t do it, how do you expect my 12-year-old to do it?

Here is the SB 866 Legislative Analysis:
"Support: 2 Individuals.
Opposition: Approximately 3,100 Individuals."
Even with those striking numbers (as well as the 5/05 hearing's witnesses and call-ins, which were overwhelmingly in Opposition), the bill sailed right through the Committee (7 YES votes--all Democrats).
The medical community liked the bill because everyone knows that all vaccines are safe so no harm can happen from this bill. That’s the “logic.”
No risk-benefit calculation for this vaccine was ever done because why would you need that? The FDA wouldn’t have approved it if it wasn’t safe. Got that?
So in the blue pill world where the FDA and CDC are honest actors and vaccines are safe for everyone, this bill is a no brainer.

Hello Steve, I am 15 and would love to tell you why I think teens should NOT be able to override their parents, why the shot is indeed not safe, and why people like me are frequently misinterpreted as "anti-vax" when we are only for transparency, safety, and testing, all things which have been mismanaged and intentionally suppressed with the COVID vaccines. I've written my own article on my point of view on this and would be happy to elaborate.
